Heist comes to V Recordings with his debut EP for the label, 'Harlots'. The four-track release showcases Heist's connections with the foundations of the Drum & Bass movement as he draws influences from the classics and spins them for a new era. With two tracks featuring OG MC Funsta, who brings an extra layer of hype and energy on 'Rob Da Bank' and 'Camouflage'.

Fans of Heist's music will be familiar with the infectious grooves and hard-hitting delivery on the 'Harlots EP'. For those new to his music, Heist's sound draws influences from the full D&B spectrum, which this special release tipping a hat to some of the classic V producers like Krust and Dillinja. Title track 'Harlots', takes things in a darker direction with its menacing bassline and eerie atmospherics. Heist shows off his production skills across the EP with intricate drum work and a brooding energy that is sure to leave a lasting impression.

With previous releases with the V family on Philly Blunt Records and Chronic, as well as Metalheadz, Digital Soundboy, Low Down Deep and his own Co-Lab Recordings Heist has established himself as a respected and influential producer in the drum and bass scene. The continued support he has from DJs across the whole scene for the last 20 years is a testament to this.

Heist - Camouflage feat. MC Funsta [V Recordings]

Brazilian producer Dunk returns on Ransaked with 4 heavy-rolling slammers. Dark Piano sets the tone for the EP with an ecclectic weighty wobbler, that showcases classic Dunk flavours. As the shakers take us through Fly Meaball, we're transported through realms of gritty bass and stripped back drums giving us that minimalistic side to the Brazlian's more typical Dunk sound we know. As the title suggests, Psychedelic begins with a stretched out distortion of sythns and then slaps us with a vortex of bass and cheeky drum patterns that sends the mind into tunnel vision. The final track is a collab from Nooch giving the project a heavy send off with those beefy drums commanding you lot to "Get On With It" and cop this latest release, check it out below.

Dunk - Psychedelic

L.A. based Lost City returns to the Liondub International label with another rugged, signature, vocal-driven EP.  This time, LC enlists the immense talent of Mozaia, an R&B/Pop artist from Seattle on two captivating tracks "The Chase" and "Can't Breathe. Staying true to Lost City's distinct style, the EP boasts both an original/crossover version and a hard-hitting JNGL version that injects dancefloor adrenaline into these emotionally-charged vocals cuts. The two vocal tunes are balanced out with two additional infectious Jungle DnB rollers crafted to set the dance floors ablaze. More heat from the Liondub International label and top stateside artist Lost City.

Hello, we hope you’ve all been managing during these difficult times. First off, we’d like to apologise for our absence with content and social media recently. It’s been a slow start for us in 2021 but I can assure you we’ve been preparing lots of exciting stuff behind the scenes which will be announced very soon.  

However, for now, we shall leave you with ‘The Underground’ EP from OZ>ONE. We have been so excited to put this EP out for a while and it’s finally ready for mailout. OZ>ONE has been on our radar for a while now, his production styles are one of a kind, so we were over the moon when we found out he wanted to do an EP for our ongoing free download Soundcloud series. ‘The Underground’, ‘Sub Minimal’ and ‘Waiting’ are all unique whilst also holding a strong cohesive aesthetic.
