This continues with a brand-new single on Metalheadz, extending across an array of styles and a natural progression from his acclaimed remix of Goldie’s ‘Inner City Life’.

At Overview Music we are exceptionally proud to present the next instalment in our curated LP series: Zone.

Last year’s Zone 1 was a VA compilation of epic proportions and we’ve really kept our foot on the gas for the sequel, delving into D&B’s underground to A&R some of the best talent around.

Zone 2 sees a veritable who’s who of up and coming artists, like En:vy, Cauzer and Offline, rubbing shoulders with some Overview stalwarts (hello again Gran Calavera!) alongside some of the scene’s leading lights, like Trex, Objectiv and Molecular.

Everyone’s brought their A game and the LP is, to put it mildly, packed to the brim with 21 absolute weapons. We could go on and on about it, but you should really just experience it for yourself. Prepare your ears and strap in for the rollercoaster that is Zone 2.

Written during the last 12 months of lockdown, Most Violent Year is the debut album of Canadian producer NC-17. It’s our honour to bring you this incredible body of work from one of dnb’s most exciting talents.

Known by many for his usual style of upfront, high energy, dynamic productions, often influenced by his love of film – particularly grindhouse horror and classic film/exploitation cinema.

Setting out to take the listener on a more profound, darker journey through these influences, Most Violent Year sees NC-17 demonstrate his versatility as a producer. Guiding the listener through a range of styles that might take some by surprise as he makes the very most of the long-player format.

Whilst taking particular influence from the 60s/70s horror classics Rosemary’s Baby, Exorcist and The Omen, NC-17 pays homage to the sound of late 90s tech-step dnb. Featuring collaborations with Kumarachi, Dunk, Dauntless, Yatuza and Masheen, this 13 track monster is lurking in the shadows, ready to take you to the dark side.

Like all good horror movies, more dread is creeping not far behind. Watch this space for the sequel…

We welcome back the talented Ben Soundscape to Dispatch Limited for the ‘Desert Swim EP’.

Setting out to create something darker ‘My Business’ sees Ben explore heavier territory, something he is not known for in his solo production. Working late nights, uninterrupted, allowed this sound to take shape, the track taking its name from the vocal sample that feeds off the bassline, warping and distorting throughout the track.

The EP takes its name from the misheard vocal sample in the title track ‘Desert Swim’. Providing a theme and idea to the track, the idea of taking a swim in the sand reminiscent of a trip by camel across the Sahara desert, as seen in the artwork for the release.

The track ‘Breathe’ was made on a trip to Vienna to work on music with RoyGreen & Protone pre covid restrictions. Wanting to create something dancefloor but with a quirky bass hook. The end result of the regular collab session involved a lot of modulation, chopping and enveloping to get the bass groove going.

‘Instances’ is another deep roller, based on the Scorpio break – tuned it to fit perfectly with the pads and other elements in the track. It gave the track some old skool influence.

Rafau Etamski - Little Girl [Premiere]

Following up from his widely acclaimed debut solo album on Hospital Records, that marked his tenth year as a solo artist, Voltage returns to the south London drum & bass label with a four-track EP of fresh remixes and VIPs of some of the finest cuts from ‘Balance Over Symmetry’. Originally released in September of 2020, the legacy of the album transcends into 2021 with a dose of extra sonic input from Serum, Waeys and Harriet Jaxxon.

Souped Up label owner and fellow member of the powerhouse supergroup Kings Of The Rollers, Serum steps up to offer his tantalising remix of ‘Natty Love’ featuring the groove inducing vocals of sound system legend Sweetie Irie. Hypnotising steel drums, a pounding bassline and rolling drumwork amalgamate into a straight drum & bass heater.

Dutch native and bubbling talent Waeys is up next as he injects his signature deep and dark sound into Voltage’s ‘Life Of A DJ’ featuring reggae and dancehall superstar Demolition Man known for his skill as a vocalist, producer, MC and sound engineer. With a healthy selection of releases under his belt on scene staple imprints including Critical, Shogun Audio, Blackout Music, Skankandbass and Overview, expect clinical precision and a serious amount of groove.

Quickly rising to the top of the drum & bass ranks, Harriet Jaxxon’s remix of ‘Save Me From Myself’, originally featured on Hospital Records’ 25th anniversary compilation ‘H25PITAL’, includes tearout amens and a vibe-packed wobbling bassline as she continues to make her mark as a top-tier producer and DJ.

Last not but least, Voltage is on VIP duties for the EP’s fourth and final track. Revisiting the sombre album original ‘Endless Dreaming’ featuring the stunning vocals of the Bulgarian Goddess. Voltage demonstrates just one of the many talents he is loved for - being able to inject a fresh lease of life into an already amazing drum & bass anthem. Eerie synth hiss, an 808 distorted to perfection and drums which seamlessly cut through the mix, Voltage pulls it out the bag once again.

With releases on foundational imprints such as Metalheadz, 31 Recordings, RAM, Souped Up and Spearhead to name a few, Voltage’s discography speaks for itself in laying down his decade worth of experience within drum & bass. Support for his productions comes flooding in from a range of influential selectors including Andy C, Hype, Friction, Goldie, Bailey, Hazard and Bryan Gee, it’s safe to say that 10 years of Voltage has been a remarkable decade, and As the UK looks to reopening later this year, expect to find Voltage at a multitude of shows and festivals including hosting his Royal Rumble stage at Hospitality Weekend In The Woods as part of Kings Of The Rollers, as well as their sell-out show at Printworks in November, Parklife, Detonate Festival and more.

It's been a while since we put any music out an after topping the charts with the 4 Corners Crew album, we're more than pleased to bring you the ninth release on Dubwise Station.
This one is a bit of special as we partnered up with ODG the famous French dub label. Our very own U.Stone took on the mission to remix a couple of tracks from their upcoming release by Roots Raid. 

As usual both tracks are packed with energy but this time with a nice summer flavour that will keep you dancing during those hot summery nights.

The first track, 'Don't love my style' featuring Shanty D is pure happy DnB roller while Babylon will fall featuring Shanty D has got an easy jungle touch
