Renowned for their own distinctive sounds, the next release on Dispatch Recordings brings together two producers with their own unique take on drum and bass. Perfectly complimenting the other’s style, the three tracks that make up DIS150 reveal a creative pairing that we hope to see more of.

‘Enhanced Realism’ strips back complex production methods to enhance the key components of old distorted Emu breaks, classic filters and short verbs to give us that classic ‘warehouse’ tonality.

For ‘Perpetual Motion’ Wreckless shows us his first foray in to a less syncopated style, maximising the straight step grooves that Brain does so well. The bass seems to continually fall throughout the track, working in contrast with the groove for maximum effect.

‘Incendio’ is a minimal stepper packed with a dirty acid filter bass, and that trademark Wreckless syncopation carries throughout the track, rounded nicely with deep pads and the minimal flavours Brain is known for. Perhaps the standout track on the release this really one captures both producer’s individual styles well.

We are back already with these 2 beautifully haunting, liquid tracks from The Netherlands’s Leniz who has teamed up with UK producer Henry on their stunning track “You Got Me” and Australia’s missledz, usually known for her minimal tech, has surprised us with some gorgeous liquid on “Falling For A Dream” and both tracks are Part 1 of Headsbass 3, released 7th August 2020.

The fusion behind this pairing is the gritty contrast of liquid and bass, the light and dark, yin and yang, ups and downs of life. These guys have worked well together and apart to create the perfect singles release.

Spanish imprint Parallel Depth continue to sparkle and startle in the most brilliant of ways, bringing through only the very best from their homebase in Sevilla, on both a national and international level. For their latest EP, which arrives tomorrow August 4th, they've recruited Belgian beatsmith Medok, who continues to impress after a run of strong, upbeat productions. We've got the pleasure of premiering the lead track from his Parallel Depth release, entitled 'Mind Games'. It's a real beauty, harnessing sharp, shuffling breakbeat diagnostics, a pitch-perfect, swooping vocal and a delightful, partnered sub and pads combo that really puts the icing on the cake.
