Following on from T.R.A.C.'s debut D&B album on V Recordings in 2017 we're really excited to reveal a thirteen track remix of the album: Life In Remixes

Anyone who has ever visited Brooklyn will have seen its wide mix of cultures, ethnicities, and renowned musicians living within some of the most historic neighbourhoods in the world. It’s birthed many great MC's and artists of all genres, one of those being T.R.A.C.

Recognised internationally throughout his career as one of Americas top flight mic handlers, T.R.A.C. has shared stages with an ever growing list of A-class DJs such as LTJ Bukem, Roni Size, and Goldie (to name a few). Whether it’s his silky smooth verses, or his drive to deliver meaningful lyrical messages, T.R.A.C. is artist who has been quietly putting his American stamp on the UK D&B scene. None more so than with the release of his debut D&B album in 2017, Life in Motion, which boasted an impressive list of features including the likes of Calibre, Serum, Lenzman and Bladerunner. Four years on, we’re proud to unveil ‘Life In Remixes’.

The remix project sees another huge roll call, thirteen A-Listers put their spin on the original album including the likes of Benny L, Artificial Intelligence, Need For Mirrors and L-Side. We’ve already seen six chart-topping remixes peeled off as singles, receiving huge praises across the board, including plays on Radio 1, Rinse FM and more.

'Northern Line 001' - their very first official release (it's an absolute stonker by the way), features a stellar catalogue of artists, both upcoming and established, including Amplify, Concept One, Elbi, Hexa, Metal Work, Rantik, StillZ, Stompz and this low-slung, acidic corker from JAK & DJ Hybrid. A collaboration worthy of plenty of plaudits from artistic peers and ravers alike, 'Kilimanjaro' represents an industrial new sonic avenue for both producers - it's dingy, it's grotty and we absolutely love it. It retains that signature grit that both JAK & Hybrid deliver in their respective dominant sounds, but adds a new layer of minimal depth - it's class all round, and that goes for the entirety of this compilation.
