passionate about sound and mixing, I started mixing in July 2024 very influenced by the underground scene and free parties🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️

For over a decade the Skyrat has brought forth sound journeys and stories, tales and trips chauffeuring your body, heart and mind through the experience of the deep & minimalist side of drum and bass. Low rolling frequencies elegantly alchemised with soulful expression, conscious lyrics, tribal drums and earthly atmosphere created alongside techy, alien and futuristic synthetic samples could be classed as his signature sound. 
Inspired by Aotearoa's top of the south and west coast underground culture he has been dedicated to the sound since his first exposure to the scene in his hometown of Takaka. Providing many a festival and gathering with the high potency of his mixing, he is here to put a fire in your heart, a shade in your spectrum and a riddim in your step.
