Hoax, the up-and-comer everyone has eyes on right now, has a statement to make with his debut EP on Hospital. ‘Duck & Cover’ is only just scratching the surface of this young gun’s musical ability, offering a broad insight into his powerfully diverse production palette. Featuring previous singles including the mighty ‘Goose Chase’ and ‘One By One’ alongside Eva Lazarus & Degs, rest assured this killer five-tracker is certainly not a hoax.

Opening the EP with a burst of atmospheric euphoria, "Wake Up" pairs Hoax’s razor-sharp production with a stunning vocal performance from SOLAH and the signature crisp touch of Hugh Hardie. This is drum & bass at its finest, blending futuristic synth work, captivating soundscapes, and weighty basslines - all in perfect harmony.

On "Noir," Hoax delves into the darker corners of his sound palette. Deep sub pressure and intricate drumwork come together alongside mangled basslines as Hoax testifies himself as one of the best in the game.
On a mission to ruffle some feathers, ‘Goose Chase’ has ravers flocking to the dancefloor since its release. Expect Hoax's classic top-shelf production served with a side of mind-boggling basslines. Don’t be a chicken - get stuck in.

Closing out the EP is "Spearfisher," a dynamic, high-energy cut designed for peak-time sets. Combining rolling drums, vivid textures, and relentless momentum, this track showcases Hoax’s ability to craft electrifying, dancefloor-ready weapons.

 ‘One By One’, alongside the iconic Eva Lazarus, and fellow label-mate Degs closes out the EP. Crisp production and vibes in abundance, this link-up is seriously weighty as the trio deliver an immaculate drum & bass cut built up from a melting pot of musical influences.
