Tom Lennox is a DJ / Producer based in London making forward thinking electronic music. He moved to the capital in 1999 from the tranquil shores of the Isle of Man, where his fascination with electronic music and vinyl had first begun and started to organise DJ gigs and parties throughout his time at university.

In 2007 he decided to put the DJing to one side to concentrate on producing his own tunes and in August of that year had his first two releases on Suburban Hell and minima music. Following on from this he signed with Influential House in early 2008 and has now released 3 tech-house tinged singles with the label. His style ranges from bouncy minimal / tech house through to more stripped back, deep techno, always keeping the emphasis firmly on the groove.

Along with producing remixes for Terry Farley, Colin Dale, Onionz and Harnessnoise he has also released productions on labels including Endemic Digital, Phobic Records, 3rd Wave Music and Christian Records. When not in the studio Tom is a regular on the London DJ circuit and is known as being a diverse DJ, having warmed up for the likes of Jon Carter and Tim Sheridan amongst other talent. He is also resident of the Freeks n Geeks night where they've brought their trademark twisted/techy madness to clubs including Heaven, SEone and the VeryVeryWrong Indeed warehouse parties.

Hacksaw follow up their massive summer anthem 'The Dawn' with ‘Uber’, an equally devastating electro anthem and their second release for Forbidden.

'Uber' sees Hacksaw dive into the dark side, featuring twisted broken beats, a sick bass line and never ending rising tech noises. Through his residency at Wax:On, TC Monckton has given ‘Uber’ a true road testing where its impact has always brought cheers from the loyal crowd. Since its first play, and as TC’s ultimate floorfiller, Uber has seen every Wax:On guest request a copy.

So we can only assume that 2 Many DJs, Krafty Kuts, Kissy Sell Out, Doorly et al are spreading the word around discerning global dance floors.

The EP’s title track offers up a slab of deep, dark soultech electronica. It’s beautifully produced, dubby hypnotic groove never fails to draw a crowd to the dancefloor and into the arms of its other worldy charms.

10243 hits darker notes, with a simple yet devastatingly effective groove designed to get the dancefloor digging deep for more. Hacksaw take 10243 to another level with a dub step meets techno interpretation that sticks firmly to its dark origins.

Square one finishes off a top quality package with a stripped back percussive groove and a dubby element that makes this track a perfect warm up tool.

Northern Soul EP is aimed squarely at the underground, armed with soulful undertones and dark, dubby grooves that pack punches designed to knock out even the most discerning of dancefloors.

A must have package for any self respecting DJ.
