Playing at this festival is always special - the location, the crowd, the people who run this festival, everything is just awesome and I am deeply thankful to be able to present my label night there of all places. 

It’s a huge industrial place, steel, iron, rust all over. All in all perfect for this kind of music. 

Some of you might be asking why am I producing deep / minimal / 140 Drum & Bass and play heavy set. The answer is simple, I just love playing hard stuff and I always will, of course I play also strictly Deep sets but in this place everyone is playing heavy, people love it there and so do I. My production goes different way, but I still like to play hard stuff.

Hraní na tomto festivalu je vždy výjimečné - to místo, ten crowd, ti lidé, kteří tento festival pořádají, všechno je prostě skvělý a jsem hluboce vděčný za to, že tam můžu představit svojí labelovou noc. 

Všude kolem ocel, želez, rez. Prostě ideální prostředí pro tento druh hudby.

Někteří z vás se mohou ptát, proč produkuji deep / minimal / 140 Drum & Bass a hraji tvrdý set. Odpověď je jednoduchá, prostě miluji hraní tvrdých věcí a vždycky budu. Samozřejmě hraju i striktně Deep sety, ale tady na tomto místě se hraje tvrdě, lidi to tu mají rádi a já taky. Moje produkce jde jinou cestou, ale pořád mě baví hrát tvrdě.

Forbidden Society has gone from being both a DJ and producer, to manufacturing a platform for his brand which stretches further than his base of Czech Republic. 

Forbidden Society has never bowed down to commercial pressure and as a result, has amassed a formidable reputation and a fan base to match. His output through his self-titled imprint and clothing line has highlighted this and his sonic divesity. 
The prime example being his debut self-released LP ‘Fog Walk’. Moving itself away from the hardcore vigor of his usual work, it covered twelve brand new editions to his already intimidating catalogue of work. The ‘Dead Box’ EP followed in quick succession, also revealed on Forbidden Society and standing as another monumental part of 2019. 
Despite being firmly rooted within drum & bass, these two bodies of work spanned his inspirations across electro, techno and punk music, something which were mirrored through his ‘Subworld’ EP on Noisia’s Vision Recordings – also releasing there again with his Audio collaboration ‘Iris’.

In more recent times, he featured as part of Killbox’s album on RAM Records with ‘Transistor’. Also returning to Vision with solo EP ‘Subworld, as well as taking part in their ‘Mission Compilation, his reworks for its label heads Noisia on ‘Exodus’ and ‘Moving For You’ (ft. I Am Legion) built on his longstanding relationship with the trio. This has only helped to thrust him even further into the spotlight. 

As well as his self-released ‘Liminal Point’ and ‘No Return’ LPs, he’s continued to set a standard, whilst exploring the likes of garage, techno and half time too. From Paris to Amsterdam, through to Columbia and Japan, Forbidden Society has brought his explosive presence to a global stage too. Standing as the first Czech producer to be booked for the legendary Pirate Station in Russia, he’s still breaking the paradigms within his creative process and in doing so, has engineered a space which has ensured both his longevity and international success.
