'Poolboi' is the perfect introduction to her style for the uninitiated - up front techno that sets the controls for the heart of fun - the track has an infectious vibe that will energize any crowd. 

The track is backed up with 'Sam’s Pharmacy' - a tripping, motoric style cut with tons of atmosphere and driving, punchy energy. Playful samples punctuating proceedings bring the whole thing to an ecstatic climax.

Get Physical showcase some more key South African talents with an EP taken from their second Africa Gets Physical compilation, this time featuring Ryan Murgatroyd in solo remix mode as well as working with Konstantinos Karatamoglou as Crazy White Boy.

Murgatroyd is first up remixing Dele Sosimi. He is a real stalwart of the South African scene and a regular on this label. His excellent reworking of ‘E Go Betta’ is built on tribal drums and has intoxicating vocal chants adding to the effect. It is the sort of anthemic tune that will become a real standout in any set.

Next up, the Cape Town man links with Konstantinos Karatamoglou to form Crazy White Boy, who make what they call ghetto tech and have done so for Tenro, Milk & Sugar and Get Physical before now. They are frequently found in the upper sections of the Beatport chart and once again here they cook up a real standout track.

The irreverent ‘Islappy Slap’ has woodpecker-like hits and a heavy, wobbling bassline. Above it, all manner of loose, off grid percussive hits rattle away to get your limbs jerking. Once the brilliant vocal from Nonku comes in, shivers run down your spine and the slow burning, deliciously deep cut groove really makes its mark.

This perfectly organic, spiritual house music EP is set to blow up and keep the dance floor alive through the winter months.
