After more than 10 years, Forbidden Society returns to the roots. 
On December 5th, 2024, the new album To The Threshold Part 2 will be released on Forbidden Society Recordings – a hard Drum & Bass journey that pushes intensity to the extreme. 
This album is dedicated to the times when Forbidden Society played in squats, following punk bands, and especially to the fans who have been asking for this return to style for years.
Alongside the album, we’re dropping the biggest Forbidden Wear collection ever. 
These limited editions won’t be restocked once sold out. We’ve also prepared special bundles, including a USB with 4 exclusive tracks.

Marty Pohl aka Řezník asked me for a track for his new film Na Plech. He wanted something loud, dirty techno that would fit the specific scene, and I think this track worked well there. The film has been quite successful and is being screened across the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Attention! New prototypes have matured in their capsules and are ready to be tested in tracks. After highlighting the necessary DNA sequences for the PPRFNK collective and the teaching staff of the Neuropunk Academy, we proudly present a unique strain of neurofunk and neurotech rhythms — the release titled "PROTOTYPES LP vol. 2", the continuation of the large-scale experiment born within the walls of Neuropunk Academy.

This release from Paperfunk Recordings encapsulates the invaluable experience gained by students and brought to life under the mentorship of NERV3, a seasoned producer who has already made waves with his releases on PPRFNK, Neuropunk, and many other labels. Under his guidance, 14 students progressed from their first synthesis attempts to creating truly groundbreaking tracks capable of transforming the perception of drum and bass music.

What awaits you in "PROTOTYPES LP vol. 2":
Bass structures, forged within the confines of students' skulls.
Rhythmic patterns, combining the innocence of a beginner with the bold ideas of someone diving deep into the world of production.
Technical convulsions — some tracks, both in arrangement and sound pressure, hint at the authors' wild imagination. At these moments, the map of their brain's electric currents probably goes off the charts.
"PROTOTYPES VOL. 2" is a collection of entirely different perspectives on drum and bass music, not necessarily conforming to any established canons. It provides a fresh take on various facets of subgenres. The most important thing to remember is that for many of the authors, this is their first release ever.

Prepare to explore new sonic territories with "PROTOTYPES LP vol. 2", where innovation meets the unknown.
