Virtual Humanity is the first full-length album of my solo project Force The Edges, and it’s all about the interplay between humanity and technology. Combining 7-string virtual guitar riffs with synthesizers that are sometimes made to sound “almost human”, the listener may be left wondering where the virtual ends and the humanity begins. But the fact is, I am just one human embracing modern tools to get the music in my head out into the real world. And in that sense, I am using technology to reveal a part of my humanity that was otherwise hidden.

Drums programmed using Logic Drummer. Everything else was played by hand on a MIDI keyboard.
