Das Set ist dem kleinen Sammy gewidmet!

Der gebürtige Münchner Nino verzückt den Süden schon seit 2001 mit seinen mitreißenden Sets. Seit geraumer Zeit ist er nun auch Teilzeit-Producer auf dem Label „Energie in Bestform“. 

"Ich wollte früher schon immer den Sound auflegen, den ich gerne höre. Da Musik mich extrem inspiriert, war es für mich schon immer wichtig, diese Inspiration weiterzugeben und auszuleben."

Wie es früher üblich war, musste er sich auch widrigen technischen Umständen annehmen und begann auf alten Riemenkisten seine ersten Vinyls zu mixen. Der Umstieg auf die digitale DJ Umgebung hat auch für ihn neue Möglichkeiten eröffnet, was seine Sets noch dynamischer und abwechslungsreicher macht, ohne dabei ganz auf das geliebte schwarze Gold verzichten zu wollen.

Ein guter Freund hat mir 2013 Nino für unser kleines Festival empfohlen mit den Worten „Der Mann ist ein Gesamtkunstwerk beim Auflegen“. Und so war es dann auch --- ich hab noch nie einen DJ erlebt, der so mit seinem eigenen Sound mitgeht … Respekt.

Nino, vielen Dank für diesen tollen Höhenflug.

Sie schaffen es mit ihrer Musik das Publikum aus der Realität zu entreißen und auf eine Reise in eine andere Welt zu entführen. Seit über vier Jahren sind Sie nun schon als erfolgreiches Duo unterwegs und sind weit über die Grenzen der Republik für Ihren treibenden, melodiösen und verspielten Sound bekannt. Im Fokus steht dabei die Liebe zur Musik und ihre Wirkung auf das Sein. Das Handwerk hierzu lernte Saskia schon in früher Kindheit am Klavier und Alex in seinem Soloprojekt ‘Minimal Lounge’. Durch Releases auf Ihrem eigenem Label Underyourskin Records und anderen namhaften Labels wie Katermukke, Hanse Hertz und Plötzlich Musik hat sich das Duo mittlerweile einen guten Namen gemacht.

Just Emma presents 'After We Lost' Afterhour Sounds Podcast Nr.67

The time has come to blow out another candle on the cake, this time around Crossfrontier Audio is turning 4 years old... and we’re keeping up steam to blow out more! Customary with every birthday bash we throw, this year we’ve doubled up with a label showcase at Amsterdam Dance Event, and a 2-part special release celebrating four years of your favourite Berlin based label.

Through the many moments that have made our label, this year has been no different for pushing our sound passionately across the World’s dance-floors, festivals and beyond. Over the last 12 months we’ve had 12 releases, including EP’s from key artists MUUI and Yoram, we’ve had Jonas Saalbach and THe WHite SHadow blow everyone out of the park with killer releases, Amentia and Foreign Guest gave us remarkable debuts, MUUI and Marc Poppcke gave us their long-awaited debut albums, and if that wasn’t enough, we teamed up with some of the best in the game to give you some deadly remixes from the likes of Einmusik, Solee, Los Suruba and Rashid Ajami – what a year!

You’d think with turning 4, it’d be easy to sit back and enjoy the ride? Yet Crossfrontier Audio won’t stop, we’re gearing up for another year and we’re gunning for our 50th release too! The next of which is a mix of label favourites and exciting new artists who feature on our 2-part 4 Years of Crossfrontier Audio, due for release mid of October – stay in the mix as you will not be disappointed, with a nod to the past and a look to the future, we certainly have a few surprises for you.

Its Friday night and we set sail on our bikes to find Robot Heart deep Playa. Once we arrived we landed on the bus with a view of the moon just peaking over the horizon. Slowly it starts to rise and it gets bigger with every step up, reaching for the sky. Blood orange, some of us were confused, was this the moon? This was the biggest I'd ever seen her and as soon as I saw this magnificent sight, something came over me…. just let myself go. This may be, the Soul of the World.
