James R Gray, AKA Totally James was born  in UK and brought up in North Cyprus .  First and foremost a drummer making his  first public performance after six months from picking up the sticks at an open mic night and there was no going back with periodic drumming for ‘Purple Haze’ and Rock 4 Play. Coming under the mentorship and guidance of local experienced musician, James began drumming for the band ‘Foreign Nationals’  a rock band. At this time, also composing instrumentals and covering trance and electronic tracks on drums and keyboards (hence the name Totally James). By the age of 16 playing guitar and developing vocals guided by his mentor .  Wide influences from the likes of Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Arctic Monkeys, Bloc Party, Muse and  30 Seconds to Mars. Currently Rhythm guitarist and vocalist in an Indie Rock Band ‘The Renegades’ , whilst drumming for  rock band ‘Snakebite’  and still continuing the instrumental compositions as ‘Totally James’. Now progression into Alternative Rock compositions and performance under the name of James Gray
