Justus is an up and coming Toronto hip hop artist and an alumni of the Round 13 Remix Project Recording Artist Program (2017).  Being influenced by hip hop artists including Jay-Z, Fabolous, Lil Wayne, Lupe Fiasco, and J Cole, his musical style ranges from deep and meaningful lyrics to melodic new school flows. 

Justus started making music when he was 17, but he began writing at eleven years old.   He found early success as a spoken word artist, winning several Poetry Slams including Bam! Youth Slam, the La Raza poetry slam (3 times), and is a four time champion of the Toronto Poetry Slam (TPS).  He has also performed at famed Toronto venue, The Mod Club as an alumni of the Remix Project, and at the Unity Festival as part of their Hip Hop artist’s showcase.

Justus will be dropping his debut mixtape in 2018 and has plans to increase his notoriety in the city by focusing on performance and collaboration with top local talent.
