Ryan Adair Rooney, known as Ryanrooney and Rycootermelontramp, is a multifaceted musician, sound engineer, and producer. He has performed with bands like Thee Catatonics, Serotonin, and Kanko, and worked with The Reverend Glasseye and The Insect Fable. Ryan has toured as an audio engineer and roadie with major acts, including The Flaming Lips, My Bloody Valentine, Iron & Wine, and The Butthole Surfers. He has also contributed to the Austin music scene through venues and the founding of Nomad Sound Inc. Ryan’s career blends performance, production, and sound engineering.

Darlington’s Foreign Tides are an enigma. A heavy and hyperactive hybrid of post-punk, 90s Screamo and Shoegaze, largely atypical to other bands in their area. A superb live act showing all they have to offer in every live performance, be it at their own D.I.Y. house gigs or alongside acts such as NARCS and The Golden Age of Nothing on a proper stage, a dark and aggressive show is in store. With debut single ‘Walker’ being released to positive public response and gaining some radio play, the band is preparing to enter the studio again soon to record debut EP ‘I Beg You, Come Back and Be Cheerful’. They aim to play shows across the country and venture out on full scale tours, opening the minds of the public to a new, fresh sound from the North.
