Representing my homeland! Made in preparation to play a few gigs whilst I was there for xmas.
Track that aptly fits in to the genre of 'Trungle', a term being coined by New Zealand producers Sick Cycle & Criss Hathaway; "a fusion of jungle rhythms, hip-hop half-time beats, and deep bass."

Detrivore - Down In Bermuda (Original Mix) [FREE DL]

Rhythm and Roots presents ‘A Guide to the Birdsong of South America’, an compilation of music inspired by birdsong and a project fusing art with activism. We challenged some of South America's most talented young musicians to create an original piece of music inspired by and using the song of an endangered bird from their country.

The result is a beautifully diverse and rich album of fresh new music, fusing electronica with natural sound, folkloric rhythms with modern-synthesisers and precious singing with rich instrumentation. Each song tells a story and paints a picture of these magnificent birds.

Using music as a tool for change, 'A Guide to the Birdsong of South America' aims to raise awareness about the plight of these beautiful but threatened species, many of which are on the edge of extinction. It will also raise funds for those working to protect them. All of the proceeds will be donated to the Ecuadorian birding organisations Aves y Conservación and Fundación Jocotoco, two non-governmental organisations with the aim of ensuring the survival of birds and their vital habitat in Ecuador, one of the most rich countries for biodiversity in the world.

The album will be released digitally and on vinyl in March 2015 via Rhythm and Roots. It will be accompanied by a series of one-off illustrations and post-cards from the American designer Scott Partridge.

and we came up with a sick script for an intro!
It evolved and eventually turned into us two rummaging around graveyards, digging for treasure... We stumble upon a coffin that is tough to break... we eventually break the seal and let a demon out...
We run away from the demon, and get to the crypt, open the door... but its tooo late!!!!

(The intro in this clip has been mad short, but when the album launched Dec 4, you can purchase the tune and listen to the whole journey!)

I have uploaded for your listening and dancing pleasure my set from Villa Akasha in Ubud, Bali this past Saturday night. Enjoy listening to this Depth Ritual, Live in Bali on 5/5/18. I had such a pleasure cultivating an atmosphere for all of you and it was my intention to create a vibe that was deep, mysterious, serpentine, and occult, hearing everything as if through the smoke stained windows of a Naga Temple, ashen Shaivites obscured by thick plumes of ritual incense, their aetheric eyes awake to see the dragons swirling through the smoke above them. I hope you like.

Le Lion - The Architect [OUT NOW]

"A collab with a good friend at the time, and a meeting of minds that I'm really happy with the result of. It was a fun one to make and grew so organically. The idea started with something vaguely African. We found a vocal and went from there. What developed was a scenic audio tour starting with a walk through an African village in the morning, then a drive through a more cosmopolitan area of town at rush hour, then resolving in the evening, perhaps by a river, watching the sunset. It's the most visually graphic track I've ever worked on and being quite a visual person it might be why I like it so much. And Arkistrate's ability to generate sounds really enhanced the track, him making all the noises that sound like birds and other creatures from nothing. 
The name came from me showing him the snare in Metallica's 'Saint Anger' and where the video was paused it trimmed the word down to 'letallic'. Dunno why we found that significant but clearly we did..."
