About the Song:
Off the Grid is an acoustic country folk pop song that takes a critical view of contemporary life. A man criticizes his partner for her unthinking acceptance of everything that has become the new normal: 5G phones, junk food and the ‘internet of things’ to name but a few. He has had enough with this kind of life which he finds unhealthy and unfulfilling. He announces that he is going ‘off the grid’ and into the woods where he intends to live close to nature and ‘feral as a fox’.
