Galactic Groove Presents the first edition of or mix series sets. 
Here we will present Live and Dj sets from the Galactic Groove Records label artists along with some guest sets from some of our friends and favourite artists involved with other top labels in the night psy scene. 
For our very first edition we feature a new Live set from one of our rising stars on the label & dear friend "Muirakitan" .

The Muirakitan project is composed by multi-instrumentalist musician Eduardo Carvalho, who since 2008 has been acquiring knowledge in music, acting in various hardcore and metalcore bands. His first contact with electronic music was in 2014 when he founded the Psycoativo alias, as a Dj focused on nocturnal sounds. As he always performed with composition in his bands, he soon left for music production, and in 2016 the Muirakitan project was formed,  a project aimed at night lovers, focused on creating a highly psychedelic and impactful atmosphere on the dance floor, leaving everyone in a euphoric trance. who indulge in organic sounds and hypnotic melodies that promise to play with your brain.

O projeto Muirakitan é composto pelo músico multi-instrumentista Eduardo Carvalho, que desde 2008 vem adquirindo conhecimento na música, atuando em variadas bandas de hardcore e metalcore. Iniciou seu contato com a música eletrônica em 2014 quando fundou o projeto Psycoativo, projeto de Dj Set voltado para sons noturnos. Freaky Forest New Year 2021 - 2022

This Sangoma episode features DAKSINAMURTI's Live Set 2022. Daksinamurti is a psychedelic trance artist, ethnologist, label manager and producer from Marburg, Germany. Together with his friend Emiel he founded and runs the label Sangoma Records. Till has been performing at events and festivals worldwide since the year 2000. Upon discovering Goatrance on the beaches of India in the early 90’s, Daksinamurti developed a diverse and insatiable thirst for studying the effects of psychedelic music on the body and mind. Combined with his passion of anthropology, his journey in music has been distinguished by his desire to discover and the depths of psychoacoustic application in music. About this set, Daksi says: "This mix was meant to be a showcase for my album but ended up as a mix of my contemporary music, music from my just released album and some sneak peaks of what is coming in the near future. It contains some solo work and collaborations with Cosinus, Peyotes, Eritas, N3xu5, Killawatt, Yabba Dabba, Superluminal (Kabayun & Yasmin), Lemurians, Oksha, Yebah & Via Axis.

Full Face is the solo project of Doros Grigoropoulos from Corfu, Greece. Doros who comes from a strong social activist background, started as a bass player for a hardcore punk group from 1994 to 2002 before becoming involved with psychedelic trance in the late nineties first as a fan and since 2003 as a DJ and producer. Since then he has released two solo albums (“In Every Place”, 2010) & (“The Flower of the Partysan”, 2014) on Pixan Recordings, and many tracks on labels such as Vantara Vichitra Records, Peak Records, Psyberia Records etc and has performed in various parties and festivals worldwide. His latest release is a 4track EP named “Biji Berxwedana” by Vantara Vichitra Records!

Vantara Vichitra Records is a service of the audio to your body, and mind; elaborately designed to cater to all your needs of existential greed – nutritive, spatial, conscious, and imaginative. We are a unified attempt to contribute to the world of psychedelic music through a balance of impeccably crafted soundscapes with unending narratives for your thought, filled with infinite mysterious dimensions. Xabanga is the Psychedelic Trance project of Greek born, South African Lio Mihos, aimed at delivering a focused and completely accidental musical adventure.
Having played the drums as my main instrument for many years, I am most drawn to rhythmic pattern variation, and because of this I started writing Psychedelic Trance to experiment with rhytmic variation of aggresive electronic music as much as possible!
In addition to this, having studied sound design for film and animation in University, my obsession with replicating sonic realities permeates into this project with a lot of passion 🙂
In this audible experience you will find riding basslines that groove into cheeky rhythmic motifs and aggressive leads, followed by designs in spaces that make no sense at all. The project was signed to Digital Shamans Records (Switzerland) in 2017).

Forest Critters is the DJ collaboration project of two life long friends, Joshua Stow and Duncan de Weerd. Having grown up in and around the beautiful Forests and local gatherings of the Garden Route, we've developed a deep appreciation for the intricate patterns and soothing sounds found within nature. Our intention is to create a safe space for the listener to explore and journey through the deepest parts of themselves.

This collaboration is a celebration of the interconnectedness between music and the natural world.
