Born and raised between Italy and Austria, DJ and producer Subsurface gained notoriety in the European dance music scene with releases on Dim Mak, Trap City and KARDO Records.

I'M CURRENTLY TAKING A HIATUS - The Parallax is a 28 year old DJ and Producer from Austria named Katinka.  Katinka started her DJing career in 2006 in Upper Austria when electronic and rave music was becoming a household sound and pulsing hard, cutting its own way into the limelight. Katinka immediately went from strength to strength after starting with Neonritter full on in Vienna, Austria and playing some of the biggest venues in the city including; Flex, Tresor, and Camera Club. 

3 Years later after taking the Viennese scene by storm, Katinka decided to change locations and step in to the already abundant electronic crowd of Zurich, Switzerland. Katinka had to fight her way to the top in more ways than one and took her place as not only a well-known DJ, but also a A-list promoter and fashion editor at one of the cities best magazines.  This allowed her to pave a path of her  own in a very competitive dance scene. 

After taking a musical sabbatical in the US, The Parallax is now back on european ground and once again located in Zurich, Switzerland.

The Parallax is also the Co-Founder and former Resident DJ of the sucessful night called  Discodust which takes place once a month at the infamous Club Exil.  The Parallax already shared the stage with artists such as Trash Yourself (USA), Le Castle Vania (USA), Mustard Pimp (F), The Young Punx (UK), Dirty Disco Youth (AUT), IAMX (UK), We Have Band (UK), Tits & Clits (HUN), Maxcherry (GER), Riot School (GER), Pitchtuner (JAP/GER), Chic And The Tramp (CH) and Gigi Barocco (ITA).

The Parallax' musical taste is a variation of Deep House and Techno with banging bass lines.
