The intensity of At The Drive In, the emotion of Jeff Buckley and the rhymes of A Tribe Called Quest, is Forever Box. They had their inception at a music college that brought their likeminded musicality out of their isolated bedrooms and into the spotlight. Still a band trying to figure out their melodic boundaries, their sound is a curious amalgamation of the vocalists’ interest in rap, the guitarists’ obsession with angelic sounding chords and a drummer that feels uneasy when there is not a hearty groove pulsing away in the background. The only conscious goal is to create a sound that stylistically leaves other bands in the dust while chartering previously unexplored terrain with an unprejudiced approach to rhythm and melody taking the listener on an adventure; music is food for the ears and we have a banquet in store for you.
