To the casual observer, he may appear to be a heavy hitter seeking shock value. Wrong. Specialising in emotive, hard-hitting bass music, he has spent years refining a language in which noise, sustained vibration and silence are as expressive as drums. At Dawless Teahouse, he explores audiovisual and interactive practice, and with P.J.E.T., he contributes to radio and offline gatherings. His recorded work shows range: the conceptual album El Poema Inacabado (Genome6.66Mbp), the EP Oxygen Activation (Shy People), the FarEastScala EP 战歌, and appearances on compilations from Absurd Trax, C.T.M. and SAFEROOM.

As the title suggests, this session focuses on life and death: an hour of intense emotion and lingering resonance, marked by grief yet illuminated by determination. It was forged amid personal upheaval: the pain of a loved one’s impending death, isolation and immovable walls. Words failed, but sound didn’t. Here, serrated textures meet a tectonic low end, drones blur into a drumless trance and eruptions of distortion give way to a fragile afterglow. The flow is less about genre than revelation: each transition a small reckoning; each motif a pulse of memory.
