Another round up of the label roster in our second volume of the "Nice Up The Session" series, which is intended as a taster for the label, our artists and the music we love. As always there's more than a generous flavour of reggae in there, soaked up amidst the hip hop, dancehall, dub, jungle and drum & bass.

As usual, there's a few exclusive tracks included too - the Aries & Gold Dubs remix of Mr Benn's "Stand Up" finally sees a release after being held an as exclusive dubplate, as well as a killer old school jungle style remix of Blend Mishkin's hit "Foundation Style" by Danny T, Tradesman & Jakey Banton and a rolling remix of Mr Benn's "Know Themself" from Spain's Dubtime.

KOTU are an exciting new drum and bass production collective from London, who's ability to create a diverse and eclectic sound has afforded them the chance to work with a variety of singers, songwriters, rappers and MC’s. The variety of music they have been producing has won them a growing fan base that spans a wide range of genres. 

The success of their production has seen them producing a series of infamous bootleg remixes which has had a full throttled response from many of the legends in the game like Randall, Goldie, Kenny Ken, Ashatack, Ruffstuff, Bryan Gee, GQ, Logan D DJSS to name just a few. As well as performing as a DJ Duo KOTU have developed an electrifying live show, which allows them to showcase their tracks to a wider audience. The show consists of a variety of guest artists whose energy and magnetic stage presence together get the crowd jumping whenever they perform. 

The live show takes you on a musical journey spanning an array of musical sounds. This year has seen KOTU Live Supporting Faithless at a sold out Electric Brixton, as well as being added to the bill for the Crisis Christmas Concert Alongside Maxi Jazz, LazyTalk, The Thirst and North of Ping Pong.
