Formerly "CAM" is an award-winning songwriter, producer, and engineer hailing from the Southside of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Emerging in 2013 as CAM, he brought raw performances to the Twin Cities underground scene, fusing Hip-Hop, Jazz, and cultural subtleties. Returning amidst COVID rebranded to Formerly "CAM"  gaining 100k+ global streams and awards for Original Composition and Production at 2019's Pandemic Film Festival for “The "H"”

2020's brought collaboration with UK's Loathe on "Days", debut studio project 'The Horn Effect', and follow-up 'I'm Young, I'm Alright But I Might Die' receiving a double feature in MPR’s The Current alongside feature on Exxe's "Nine to Five" following various releases 'Don't Want To Be Here Anymore' and 'Run Me Them Rackz' stood out for their social commentary and homage to the Midwest landing his first in-person interview on DogStar, while 2024's 'LSM' (Bandcamp/SoundCloud/YouTube) was featured in 3-part series with Bold Journey+CanvasRebel

2025's 'Dowmedy' and video “With Woundz” have exploded becoming 2nd most viewed video in under 150 days with 250k+ views in 6 months across platforms. From trending audio on Facebook/Instagram, top creator in Minneapolis (#5 Minnesota) on Triller, to the first US artist on UK’s UNKOVA, and contest opportunities via Tiny Desk, Warped Tour and Global Citizen Fest, Formerly is working beyond music with Cameo, Hulu, and Sam’s Club providing perks for his local community and accessibility for his international audience
