Form & Terra's lighthouse beams forth five electrifying highlights for all electronic music enthusiasts with the latest installment of the "Terra Lights" series. Set sail and uncover a trove of musical treasures ranging from deep and groovy vibes.
Maxie König ignites the sea with the deep groove fireworks "Give". Glittering chords and deep basslines light up the waves in wonderful, versatile colors and dance on the surface. Ana Antonova contributes and brings dubby chords and irresistible
groove from distant lands with the track "Can't you see". The flames of the fireworks become a fire and the seas become rougher as Cie and Mar io emerge from the depths of the ocean in their massive ship "Mindmodulator", which actually turns all senses upside down with an acid storm. After the storm, Nicola Brusegan takes over the helm and with "Funny Man" a refreshing, deep and groovy breeze blows over the ship. Finally, we head towards our next sound adventure with Peter F. Spiess "Swift Ride".

Form & Terra's lighthouse sends thirteen highlights to all seafarers of electronic music, who will discover many musical treasures in this release, from a gentle, groovy breeze to a roaring Techno thunderstorm. With "Dubline" Markus Funke lets the sea shine with dubbed chords and deep basses, the brilliance of which Ucleden continues wonderfully and goes one step deeper. "When Breathing Starts" is the appropriate title, and it's pulsating also with the Cologne improvisation collective Drehkommando, who put the focus on deep groove with the track "Freedom is just a word", which was created during one of their live performances. The groove is also very big in Ana Antonova's versatile and wonderful detailed track "Poccito". A fresh breeze is blowing up and Peter F. Spiess once again proves his extraordinary remix skills and interprets the opener track with gentle strings and sparkling melodies. 
But now come a storm and Tim Susa provides high sound waves and a techno  thunderstorm with his driving "Mudfighter". Sound flashes light up the sky and Mar io is in the eye of the techno storm with his track "All I Can Get". Also Cie and Stephan Eul like to play with high waves on "Equality" until minimal house comes on board with Gunman's "Stable". With "Feeling" by Chris Maico Schmidt and Noah Levin, the sails shredded by the storm are loosely fluffed together again and set anew with floating harmonies. The sun comes out and glitters on the calm sea, and November Reign with "Am Eisernen Steg" also know how to conjure up a good surge of endorphins. Land is in sight and everyone on board can now relax with Multiple Noise's wonderfully groovy chilled "Rapid Eye Movement" and enjoy the rest of the journey. Finally, Eric Svensen leads us experimentally, but solidly and safely back to the home port: "Flying to Planet E".
It's full speed ahead with these thirteen wonderful tracks!

Ross Harper’s acclaimed recent LP, ‘The Dark Album’ has been supported by a wide range of international press, radio and leading DJs. ‘My Gift’ has been a highlight of several of Richie Hawtin’s sets whilst Charlotte de Witte called it “beautiful”. Sasha, Kölsch, Jennifer Cardini, Maceo Plex, John Digweed, and Skream alongside many others have also been praising the album. 

'The Dark Album' remixes feature handpicked artists Ross Harper personally holds in high regard. 

To put this in a framework, Harper was recently asked in an interview with The DJ Sessions, for his opinion of Ghost Producers and furthermore what we can expect when in the near future tracks are produced by AI? As a DJ, Harper’s answer was simple, it is his job to filter out tracks that do not have feeling, more specifically, Harper is listening for tracks that have heart and soul, in fact Harper’s monthly radio show has the name, “House & Techno w/ Heart & Soul”.

The artists Harper has invited to remix tracks from 'The Dark Album' are producers who have exhibited the anti-thesis of Ghost Producers and AI, they are special individuals who have something that cannot be mimicked, hidden, faked, they have something unique and different that makes them stand out from the chatter.

Harper’s DJ sets are free and boundless, and so this is what fans can expect to hear in the remixes, from rich ambient soundscapes, to driving epic arpeggiated leads, to hard, gritty machine beats, to beautiful textures and softness, all fixed in a diverse cross-range of genres with end results that are almost impossible to tie down and categorise.

In Volume 1 we hear from Cie, Nickon Faith and Roi.

Colonge’s Cie breaks in with a hybrid creation, taking Harper’s bleeps, squeaks and synth choir from 'Something New' and weaving them through intelligent syncopated hypnotic techno grooves, the result is an entrancing tapestry that draws the mind deeper and deeper into the patterns, until suddenly, it all ends.

Manchester’s Nickon Faith fearlessly takes on 'Humanistic Correction' and brings with him an entire intergalactic orchestra of sound. In Faith’s ‘Drifting' remix 'Humanistic Correction' becomes a multi-layered symphonic masterpiece. The first section is led by a wandering melody while contrastingly the second section gives way to a structured arppegio. Harper challenged Faith to develop the second section in a new version, and hence the ‘Epic' remix came to being, with the 'Epic Edit' being a consolidation of the beauty and intensity.

Heralding from Galicia’s coast, Fanzine’s Roi strikes out first with his 'Retro Future' breaks remix of 'The Power of Three', feel the raw power of Roi’s proximity to wild Atlantic ocean in his driving electro baseline that compliments perfectly against the soft, dreamy synths from Harper’s original. Not content Harper nudged Roi again, this time for a 4/4 remix, so, with a hint of something like an early disco classic but adorned with drones and squelchy melodic lines that would be more at home in Jabba The Hutt’s lair then Paradise Garage, the 'Cosmic Disco' remix came to be.

The compilation "Get Together" enters a new round and gathers four artists to take a journey into electronic music together again. Maxie König opens the gathering with warm basses and sparkling chords in her track "TenTen". The unmistakable groove immediately carries us away and drives us straight onto the dance floor, where the no less deep track "Dezest" by Dip resounds through the speakers. Here we float on the smooth strings of the recurring sound waves, which one can hardly resist. Ana Antonova takes up this beautiful flow in her fascinating track "Naked Neighbour" and adds jazzy melodic elements that are interwoven with original sounds to create a fabulous, versatile sound story. Finally, Cie picks up the bass and groove again and reflects the wonderful atmosphere of this gathering with the harmonic strings in "Haus Im Turm", making you want to put this record on „again“ and „again“.
