Cette pièce radiophonique est composée d’enregistrements consignés sur une période de dix-huit ans. Ces enregistrements ont été collectés à partir de la fenêtre arrière de l’appartement de l’auteur qui vit dans le West End de Glasgow. Il s’agit de sa part d’une tentative d’exercer une certaine forme de contrôle sur les sons extérieurs qui l’ont agacé, perturbé ou mis en colère au fil des années dans cette résidence -  et qui ont largement disparu pendant le confinement.

Mark Vernon est un artiste sonore basé à Glasgow qui travaille avec des cassettes trouvées. Son travail explore les thèmes de la mémoire magnétique, de l’archéologie audio, du voyeurisme et de la nostalgie. http://meagreresource.com

(Un) universo (nace). Visualiza, escucha y va creciendo. (Este) universo (seres sintientes) van mutando su capacidad para ver, oír y percibir información en el tiempo. Y (ese) universo total, entero y sensible se encuentra absorbiendo la vida que tiene por delante, los lados, por arriba y por abajo. Y va mutando, va observando, va entendiendo y sigue escuchando.

Ya no es (un) universo sino (cosmos) de elementos, recuerdos, registros y encuentros nuevos. De paisajes visuales y sonoros; un campus infinito de belleza y horrores que transpora en (elle) como maleta, recorre y explora lo desconocido para seguir (creciendo).

Sonidos y paisajes sonoros de Mar del Plata, grabaciones de zorzales colorados y benteveos en Buenos Aires, Argentina.

(Un) universo (nace)/ Paisaje sonoro de Buenos Aires y Mar del Plata.

• 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗣𝗗𝗙 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗹𝗲𝘁 • 

For its third release, forms of minutiae presents ‘possible moistures’ a non-profit compilation of field recordings and soundscape compositions derived from various aqueous environments and their autochthons. 

This gathering is made of 16 sonic encounters collected by field recordists and sound artists across the world. Artists were invited to submit sounds from marine and aquatic-related events, phenomena, geologies, fauna, flora, geographies, and technologies. From the thawing acoustics of Icelandic and Antarctic glaciers to the non-human voices of Australian wetlands, while meeting sea and river dwellers, the listeners embark on a sonic journey across the globe’s possible moistures. 

All proceeds from this release will be donated to the organisation Atelier Bleu - Centre Permanent d'Initiatives pour l'Environnement de la Côte Provençale to support them in their aim to conserve and protect Posidonia Oceanica seagrass species and to accompany ecological transitions on the Mediterranean coastal lands of the Côte Provençale (France) by encouraging eco-responsible behaviour through education, training and awareness actions. They especially work closely with the region’s youth to raise their environmental awareness by offering workshops and activities to discover the maritime and terrestrial environments: underwater snorkelling trails, guided walks, etc. 

This compilation has been made available to the Atelier Bleu as a resource which they can present to the children as part of their educational workshops.

🏴 'Dystopian 001' is split release between the sound artists Manja Ristić and Toni Dimitrov, and it is part of the new 'Dystopian series', showcasing a more abstract, darker, obscure and politically infused side of the sound of élan vital artist roster. Inspired by everyday life in the last several years living in realized dystopian visions and darkest predictions, the sound on this series will be the soundtrack for our daily dystopian reality. We are all aware that the future of our civilization is not bright, but that doesn't mean we are not living in an exciting epoch.

🏳️ Part one brings two longer pieces, presenting the dark side of the mystical long form experimentations by the Serbian violin and field recordings diva Manja Ristić and the latest field recordings experiments of the sound art naturalist Toni Dimitrov. Through this joint release the artists are trying to explore the potential for change of the society, resulting in a mature, expressive and complex album.
