With Wait A Minute EP, Italian trio Joyfull Family (Chico Perulli, Guido Nemola and Cristian Carpentieri) lay down a proper slice of timeless house, laced with modern flair and proper dancefloor heat.The Original Mix of "Wait A Minute" is pure deep-house goodness – lush grooves, fat basslines and silky vocal cuts stitched together into a classy, late-night roller. A real warm-up weapon for heads who know.
G&D’s Remix (Gino Grasso and Dino Angioletti flexing their chops) roughs it up with a raw, funk-fuelled twist – dusty drums, elastic bass and chopped-up vox that slap just right. Proper vintage vibes without sounding played out.
Relative’s Peaktime Mix takes the tune up a gear: chunkier kicks, clever delay work and pressure-cooker build-ups that scream peaktime weapon, all while keeping the original’s soul intact. Certified floor-filler.

It’s not easy ploughing a furrow that ain’t already been ploughed in dance music, but Tim Paris makes it look easy. Through his label Marketing Music, Tim has spent years pushing out some of the most distinctive and unconventional house records around. Luckily, we still have music… Laurent Garnier's COD3 QR returns in May with a stellar four-track vinyl release alongside an accompanying digital version. This digital releases features mixes of K' Alexi Shelby's "Flame" (the original version is exclusive to the vinyl release), by Laurent Garnier and the man himself, plus tracks by French wizard Marc Bedikian and one of COD3 QR's star players, Squal G.

K' Alexi Shelby is a prominent figure in electronic music and with a career spanning decades, he's established a significant influence on House and Techno. Throughout his career he's worked with many well-known artists and remixed tracks that are now key pieces. The cultivation of his massive musical catalogue has overflowed into albums and the three labels he heads. It's also led to legendary collaborations with artists such as The Pet Shop Boys, Robert Owens, Kenny Dixon, Roy Davis Jr., Maurice Joshua, Terry Hunter, Joe Smooth, Steve Silke Hurley, Tyree Cooper, Ron Trent, Glenn Underground, Larry Heard, DJ Pierre, Carl Craig, Felix da Housecat, Marshall Jefferson, Will Smith and countless others. Already respected around the world as a true underground House legend, it will be cemented further on listening to his deep and sexy track "Flame". Presented here are Laurent Garnier's stunning edit to open the EP, while Alexi's Klassik Deep version closes it out.

A geek at heart with a passion for music, Marc has forged his sound universe over the decades. He grew up listening to the melodies of Prince, before being drawn into the Hip-Hop culture of the '90s. At the dawn of the 2000s, he plunged into the bubbling world of electronic music, a revelation that marked a decisive turning point in his career. From Detroit Techno to Richie Hawtin's experimentation, Josh Wink's raw energy, Gary Beck's power, James Holden's finesse and Laurent Garnier's eclecticism, his influences are many and shape his musical identity. With "Qui Peut Le Plus", he pays homage to these influences, blending hypnotic rhythms, deep textures and characteristic rises in tension. His approach both in the studio and behind the decks is a perpetual quest: to thrill, surprise and convey the raw emotion of electronic music.

Producer and manager of Slates Records, Squal G is a French artist who has been passionate about electronic music since the '90s. Initially he practised his art as a DJ, but a few years later finally turned to machines and computers. This enabled him to progress with his production and remixes. He never tries to stick to a single style, which, depending on his inspiration, can lead him to be more or less hard, while remaining in the spirit of techno. To accompany his track, "Parallel Sound" on the vinyl is the retro metallic and driving Techno of "Life Reaction" on the digital.

While some guys will tell you now it’s all computers, at Turbo we know in our hearts that everything in life can be understood as a funhouse mirror. Steve Bug & Langenberg: NGC 6240 

The second single from Steve Bug & Langenberg’s new project together serves up another reminder why both producers are held in such high regard.

Steve Bug's unwavering dedication to house music had brought forward yet another winning combination on his own Poker Flat Recordings label, this time with Langenberg - himself a key part of the deep house vanguard in Europe.

'NGC 6240' is one of the harder edged tracks from the album 'Paradise Sold' - a techy, urgent work out with rising arpeggiated leads and sense of impending euphoria.

Long time collaborator Tim Englehardt drops by to deliver a signature remix - taking the track in a deeper direction and opening up the arrangement to a trippy, tightly wound groove.

The techno veteran Vince Watson also shares his vision for the track in another remix presented here - adding assistant claps and percussions and stretching out the drama over eight and half minutes.

Poker Flat go right for the jugular again with this blazing collaborative EP from the duo Tim Engelhardt (@timengelhardt) & BOg (@bogmusicoff).

Engelhardt in one of the hottest talents around, forging a hugely prolific carrier already from his home base in Cologne, Germany. Just recently Tim released his debut album 'Moments of Truth' on Poker Flat followed by a remix EP.

Teaming up with the hugely talented Bogdan Tanase (BOg) from Romania, the boys put together a strong musical statement.

'Synchronicity' sets out the stall - driving, powerful tech house with a sense of class and restraint. The energy is teased through-out the track, pulling from the tight rhythm and expressing itself with dramatic, moody synths - interwoven into a slick whole.

'Alma' also showcases the pair’s ears for dynamics - each element in the track perfectly crafted and mixed - the result is an emotional dancefloor experience that’s more than the sum of its parts.

Turning up the heat, 'Astronauts' kicks of with a thumping groove that builds and mutates across the track - resulting in a driving, powerful weapon for a multiple of situations.

Similarly, 'Celsius' fits right into this release - yet another cut of driven, melodic tech balancing primal rhythmic energy with expressive melody.

For our third offering we’ve chosen four Tigerskin classics for you plus one unreleased tune from Alex Krüger’s Archives. 

‘Bordeaux’, from 2008, is a dark and lush space hymn that set the tone for many of Tigerskin’s productions in the years to come. It features acoustic kicks and percussion, sequenced synth toms, subtle pitch changes and has lots of atmosphere which, back then, you‘d rather expected in Drum & Bass. 

‘Silver Sun’, unreleased til today, was taken from the same 2005 recordings session as ‚Neontrance‘. A minimal groove and a ton of bass marry a big room full of breathing acid synths and reverbs while little artefacts fly around like mosquitos.  

‘Neontrance’ is one of Alex‘s widely known ‚acid techno‘ pieces. Rhythmically changing synth-patterns are built around a proper booming Tr-808 until that hi pitched synth line comes in... Simple. Effective. This one’s still killing dance floors all over the world since it‘s 2006 release on Dirt Crew Recordings.

The last two, ‘Suzuki Rider’ and ‘Wanted’ have been originally recorded and released in 2008, also with Dirt Crew, as part of th ‘Peter’s Secret Weapon Ep’ and since we and many others out there always loved both for their beauty and elegance we won‘t want to keep the fresh versions from you any longer.

All five tunes have been beautifully restored again from their original parts by Stefan Janson.

For the first release, TAU001, the Adana Twins introduce a duo under the name ‘Innellea’; believed to be one of the biggest up-and-coming talents in the scene right now. Heavily influenced by percussion sounds, this inaugural EP successfully launches with thematic cohesion and into a realm of what they believe tribal infused techno should really sound like. Recruiting the help of Hu- man Machine to remix lead track ‘Nautilus’, having already gained significant support from the Adana Twins, who play almost all of their releases in their DJ sets. The rich, contrasting tastes of the German four-piece shine through, staying true to one simple rule – make people dance.
