Tigerskin returns with a batch of three very dance floor oriented tunes for sweaty disco nights. ‚Beautiful’ spreads positive House vibes with bouncy beats, jazzy chords and space cat chatter. E.L.I. is one for the Hippies, Endless hypnotic synth sequences, didgeridoos, trance is everything! The didgeridoo parts were played by Phil Conyngham for Alex Tigerskin’s personal sample library in 1997 and recorded at his apartment during a summer night till the neighbours started complaining. ‚Sliptease’ is ‚made of ecstasy‘. 80s disco synths, handclaps and hands up, this one is super catchy as well as super discoid. We love those tracks and hope you do too!

Tigerskin is back on Disco tracks. "City Nights" is a cool late 70s-influenced groover with lots of quotations. Cop cars, dealers and dirt next to organs, guitars and strings.

"Once and for All" brings back early 80s feel. Deep, laid back rhythms, fat claps, synth bass and saxophones. Yes, saxophones. It’s beautiful, isn’t it?

For our 50th anniversary we present you three unreleased, hypnotic Acid-versions of PsychoPlasma „Forbidden Planet“, a tune that was recorded in 1994 and came out as 12“ on Tanjobi Records in 1996. We already re-released it on Forms & Figures a few years ago. These other three versions were recorded by Alex Krüger during one night and were based on the same bass- and drum patterns of the PsychoPlasma version from few days earlier that were still in sequencer memory.

At the time Alex was still working with an all analogue setup that was based around Rolands X0X series and cv/gate sequencers, so everything sounds very early 1990s, trippy, raw and was arranged and recorded in real-time on cheap equipment. 

Some inspiration obviously came from Laurent Garnier’s „Fnac“ label, that we know Alex liked a lot at the time.

Tigerskin and vocalist Ernesto Eyong from Cameroon recorded this tune 2003 in Berlin. Actually this was the first of several versions but this is the one. “Na Tondi Wa” is a super catchy, raw, mechanic, simple and most effective Techno House tool that even after a twenty years slumber stands out and will put smiles on peoples faces. It‘s about love, too.

Mariano Mateljan is a Croatian DJ and producer who has long been a key figure in his country's underground electronic music scene. Growing up in Split during the 90s and early 2000s, his musical journey was shaped by the city's thriving club culture, which introduced him to a wide spectrum of sounds, from house to techno and drum’n’bass. Known for his deep, groovy, and minimalistic style, Mariano has established himself as both a DJ and label head, launching the u.dig imprint to showcase like-minded artists. His work has earned him widespread respect, with support from industry heavyweights like Ricardo Villalobos and Sonja Moonear, while his releases and remixes continue to push the boundaries of electronic music.
