Fornace were born in 2000 in  Italy by the hands of Possessed ( with a touch bass) and Gnoll (drums and vocals). Since the beginning Fornace have played traditional Black/Death metal with a touch of 80's metal influences inspired by hordes like old Rotting Christ, Varathron, Mystifier. During the years Fornace released three demo tapes: "Highest Towers" in 2002, "The man who wanted change the world" in 2004 and "The awakening" in 2008.
In 2012 Possessed and new members  release the first album of Fornace through Autodafé prod (Rus): "Pregnant is the night"...seven unholy hymns of evil black metal.
One year later Paragon records (Usa) re-released it with different artwork.
Despite the abandonment of many elements Possessed and Mastiff (guitars) in 2014 recorded the most evil, melancholic, introspective and epic work created by Fornace: "My journey is ending but the torment will be eternal" the new album full of negative emotions...
