An independent rock band from Istanbul, TR.

The Ringo Jets is a heavy rock’n’roll band from Istanbul, Turkey; a loud one too. Formed at the end of 2011 by guitarist Tarkan Mertoğlu, Deniz Ağan and drummer Lale Kardeş, the band recorded their very first DIY EP “Limited Lunchpack” and gained high exposure through the underground scene. After signing with Tantana Records on 2012 the band released their debut album produced by Tommaso Colliva (Muse, Franz Ferdinand, Afterhours, Calibro 35) in 2014 and they have been touring Europe ever since. The band direct supported Kadavar, Pixies, Dirty Fences and opened for The Battles, Triggerfinger, Portishead, Gogol Bordello and ended up on several end of year best lists.

  Puka, eski çağlardan beri bazı inanışlarda varolduğuna inanılan, pek çok canlının şekline bürünebilen, zor zamanlarda insanlara yol gösteren ancak bilinmeyen olduğu için karanlık yönleri de olan bir ruhtur. Yasemin Özler ve Tunç Çakır'ın 2011 Mart ayında başladıkları projeye Burak Irmak'ın katılmasıyla "Puka" oluşmuştur. Vokal, Synthesizer, Drum Machine ve Akustik Davuldan olusan "Puka", içersinde Disco, Elektro, Breakbeat, Ambient tınılar barındıran bir müziğe sahiptir.
     Puka is a spirit which existed in some ancient beliefs. It is a spirit which can appear as various creatures, guiding humanity in rough times. However as it’s a being shrouded in mystery, it also has its dark sides. Yasemin Ozler and Tunc Cakır began the project in March 2011. The unique musical style of “Puka” was established after Burak Irmak joined the band. Vocal, Synthesizer, Drum Machine and Acoustic Drums are what "Puka" is about. It hosts Disco, Electro, Break beat, and Ambient sounds embedded within its musical overtones.
