From dancefloor experience all the way to a true professional understanding of what sustains a healthy scene, Ben has been involved in playing, promoting, producing and distributing. The latter comes both in the form of curating for Eastern Bloc Records as well as his label Unveiled Nuance, which is used as a platform for his own productions.

The mix serves as an outlet for Ben’s fine vision on techno by pulling you through broken structures and entrancing beats. A true joy to listen to.

This week Lindamann hailing from Tokyo has put together a truly mesmerizing recording for our channel. The rising Japanese DJ/Producer is starting to gain a foothold in the scene with releases on various promising labels such as Oslated, Lowless and Huinali. All definitely worth checking out. The 1-hour long recording that Lindamann prepared for us contains a remarkable selection of tracks that will undoubtedly pull you into hypnosis.  

It’s a special week, as a part of the collective is currently travelling through Japan and has listened to the work of Lindamann while crossing through the Japanese mountains. We can assure you that the set perfectly suits a Shinkansen train ride.

The mix starts off with tribalistic percussion and heaver kick-drums, naturally flowing into an array of dub-orientated patterns and rhythms.

A steady and fulfilling path has been walked by Means&3rd aka Ben Marsden to get him to the creative space he currently occupies.
A Manchester resident since 2007 his musical education has been nurtured by the city and the experiences that have come with it. First beginning with his musical education, shortly followed by many years of promoting events and culminated in securing a place behind the counter at one of the UK’s finest record stores, Eastern Bloc Records, where he currently curates the House and Techno sections.
A local favourite and regular of Manchester's White Hotel, Warehouse Project, Soup Kitchen, and the close quarters of Eastern Bloc's very own club night his DJ'ing style has matured over the years to convey a more textured, headier but no less driving vision of techno that is always cohesive within its layers and never struggles to provide a boundless dynamic, especially when given the chance to play extended sets where he truly thrives, a keen intuition developed from over 2 decades of DJing.
More recently he has zeroed in on his production skills with 2021 seeing the launch of his own imprint 'Unveiled Nuance' which will serve as a platform for his own productions and a true introduction to his sound as an artist. After years of meticulous analysis of his craft and the invaluable knowledge gained via the record shop, he has truly begun to sculpt his own sonic identity with a sharp attentiveness to detail.

"I aimed to create something that reflects where I am sonically right now. The aesthetic of the deeper sound has expanded so much lately, touching on all sorts of BPM's and vibes, and I've really been loving every bit of it. @hydrangeamusic ’s life as a producer and DJ began relatively recently, when in 2014 she began expressing the quietness, wonder and intensity of nature in techno. For this prodigious French talent, creating and selecting music is an act of entering a deeper dimension, both transcendent and grounded in the hypnotic beauty of the natural world.

As a producer, she has released her own productions – which are lucid, mesmerising, arresting – on @annulled_music, @two-two-records, and @silent-season.

As a DJ, she is equally inspired by the dancefloors she plays to across Europe as by the nature around her home. She describes this mix for Patterns of Perception as a musical trip for one of her walks in the forest, creating an inner journey while being connected with the surroundings.

Deep Electronics Podcast # 190 - Midub

Welcome to the 32nd chapter of the Deep Consequences Podcast.
A collaboration with Deep Electronics from The Netherlands and Truth or Consequences from Italy. We started with a project tru this podcast serie. Every ending of the season there will be a release supported by the booking & event agency BLISS from Paris, France. Every last month of a season there will be a release with a PA or DJ from there catalogue to present them with the music they create, perform and spin.. With the end of the winter Yuki will make her debute here at Deep Consequences.

Biography : 
YUKI
No one expects to hear such a tough techno set when you see Yuki for the first time. The Japanese-born DJ started her career in France, and is now one of the new smashing talents. Her energetic mixing style is loved by the crowd and she has played in a lot of French popular venues (Badaboum, Nüba, la Suite Brest, Baby Club...) and also Vicious Club in Rome. She recently took part of one of the leading electronic music festival in Europe, I Love Techno, alongside the biggest icons of the techno scene. She's also focusing on her own productions for some next releases. Fresh, stylish, and with killer musical tastes, Yuki is definitely a promising talent.
