La politique n’est pas un jeu. C’est une lourde responsabilité. Celui qui s’y engage, engage des vies : la sienne et surtout celle des autres. Alors, soyez-sûrs, messieurs les politiciens que chacun de vos actes est murement réfléchi. Gare à ne pas décevoir ceux qui placent leurs espoirs en vous et qui comptent sur vos œuvres. Lorsque Dieu exhausse votre vœu de présider aux destinées de votre peuple, faites-en bon usage.
 
Politics is not a game. It’s a heavy responsibility. He who commits himself commits lives; his own and especially those of others. So be sure gentlemen when you implement your politics, that each thing you do is well thought through. Be careful not to disappoint those who count on you and pin their hopes on your work. When God grants you wish to rule over your people’s destinies, put it to good use.
