Avenue Red ushers in another new year's feast of deepness with a fresh debut mix from Adrià Duch - an artist, DJ & producer based in Barcelona. Adrià has released music on some of the finest proper underground labels including: Apnea Label; Insectorama; Chikyu-u Records; Greyscale; ECOUL SND; Lempuyang; Crossfade Sounds; Piranha Siberia Dub; Citrica Records; Melotonin; Slope Point; ODrex Music... and there are many more imprints graced as his production catalogue traces back to somewhere pre-2012. But damn it, to what length will this list stretch to being in another 5-10 years time?!

So yes, Adrià has created tons of seriously amazing material that is moody, creative in arrangements and demonstrates his very special awareness of, and skill in handling the heavy sonic details in the low-end bassy frequencies. Wanna hear him DJ? Recline. It's all going to be fine.

"I want to thank Alec for giving me this opportunity. I have to say that I consider myself first a producer and then a DJ. I obviously like to play music and I am always excited to collect vinyl, whether it be LPs or 12"s. I am a lover of dub techno - always have been! I make dubby-oriented music under my own name but for this mix I wanted it to be eclectic. I also enjoy many other genres in the electronic music scene.

We’re very excited to kick off 2025 with a new face on the label. This is Masha Dabelka! She’s living in Vienna since the late 2000s and is involved in the local scene for a long time.

Masha describes herself as a cosmopolitan dj and producer. She doesn’t wear crop tops or clap her hands behind the DJ booth or while making music, but her tapping feet, dressed in colorful shoes, reveal her cheerful nature. She also loves juggling the aesthetics of different eras and musical subcultures. But her greatest inspiration and value lie in effortlessness, humor, and authenticity.

And this results in her brandnew EP ‘Dolphins In China’. This release will come out on march 7, 2025 on all download stores, streaming services and on vinyl.

Kooscha, a Ukrainian-born, Warrang-based artist, is known for his signature deep and dubby textures, with releases on labels like Spclnch, Manjumasi, and Blankhaus, among others.

Thomas Carmody is the founder of Spclnch, a dub techno label shaped by his unique vision—free from formal constraints. His passion for meticulous curation led him to launch Chippy Chasers in 2023, pushing his artistic direction even further.

Expect deep, hypnotic rhythms and an immersive sonic experience. We hope you enjoy this journey as much as we did putting it together.
