J.Masaki also known as John, he is currently the resident DJ of Horizon Events at Scotland, UK, one of the British-Asian nightlife entertainment playgroup, based in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

His journey into music was inspired by his beliefs in leading the dance movement   for his crowds , slowly organising an array of distinguishing events. J.Masaki strides to deliver a unique audience experience and has brought a whole new dimension to the nightlife entertainment in Scotland and Hong Kong. Throughout his career living In Europe, J.Masaki has took a DJ course at Amsterdam in  2014 as well as collaborated with local DJs and producers, who has also been inspired from recent resurgence in Hong Kong, Dutch and London Underground dance music. His personal style is continuously evolving and has slowly shifted from a broad spectrum of modern dance music to a passionate focus on electronic, minimal and afro , where his main strengths remain in EDM.

At this stage of his career, J,Masaki has already performed on stage with major artists such as: Lady Bee (MAD DECENT, DIM MAK), DJ Prospect (DJ City, BBC 1extra), Craig Wilson (Colours) and Hong Kong#1 - DJ Yin (Magnum Club, Zentral). In 2015, J.Masaki was the open and closing act of the French Super Star - Madeon (DJ Mag Top100 #54@2012) at the BEAT-SHIP Cruise Festival (Genting Hong Kong).

With 'creating distinctive memories for everyone’ as his core approach towards music, he always aims to unite people with his kinetic tunes and provide a mind blogging night.

As a French-born, Noosa-based House DJ and event producer, Nycks has dedicated over 25 years to perfecting his craft. 

Drawing inspiration from the pioneers of New York, London, and Chicago's 90s house scenes, Nycks adds his own unique spin to create a sound that is truly his own. 

With a career spanning over two decades, Nycks has built a reputation for staying true to the core concepts of house music, earning him international recognition and residencies in France, Mykonos, New Caledonia, and Australia.

With his promotion company, Underground Jack, Nycks has been bringing the golden years of house back to life in Sydney, offering a deep and chunky sound that harkens back to the old-school house scene. 

Between 2017 and 2021, Nycks hosted 40 House 'n' Garage Shows on the D3ep Radio Network (Grant Nelson’s online radio).

Since 2022, Nycks has called Noosa home, playing regularly at local venues and continuing to energize the dance floors with his signature style and passion for 90s house music.
