Sometime ago, Activa hooked me up with the awesome artist that is Magnus. He asked me to rework a new breaks track that he's done. I willingly accepted, cause I'm a huge fan of his sound and the original track is amazing.
I can tell you that it was one of the most joyful projects for me. The main reason is that Magnus' sound is state of the art. Absolutely massive sound that guy. Getting to work on his production was so inspiring. Plus, he's a great and really friendly dude.

So, here's the result. Magnus loved it and described it as the best remix ever done of one of his tracks. I hope you'll like  it the same.

Next on Overload is Discover, Pharmacy, JOOF and Perfecto Fluoro featured Artist Magnus. From the onset the rolling psy bassline captures you into the hypnotic acid tabs, chopping vocals and evolves into the arp pluck riff to its eventual euphoric breakdown enriched with pad layers and infused female vocals leading the pre climax drop. This continues with every element previously introduced slowly introduced, until the familiar acid stabs and dark rolling basslines return. Support by Armin Van Burren on ASOT 693, this promises to satisfy any Psy Trance and cross over Zealot. 

On remix duties, Chris Voro return with two remixes. The 'Thumping' remix delivers Voro's classic Psychedelic breaks signature chart topping sound. With vocal chops, tough snares it drops with acid fuelled riffs and hard hitting kicks providing DJ's the perfect break to any 4/4 set and interpretation to the original.

In complete contrast, Voro demonstrates why he is an established name in PSY trance circles with the progressive 'Enlightening' remix. Consisting of classic interactive and counterpoint layers of pads, synths, LFO acid stabs it draws you to the delicate breakdown saturated with the riff in the original. The Vocal and acid stabs build to the eventual drop of perfect swinging PSY rolling bassline. A must have weapon for any PSY enthusiast, critic or professional performer.
