As well as running the well respected Future Primitive imprint(featuring artists such as Leon Anibaldi, Mike Ink, Murcof, DJ Guy, CN, Charles Noel and Bluetrain) Milo is the brains behind the Club Rooted podcast series dedicated to non-floor focussed club music that "rides the line between warm-ups, messy after-party sets and the golden era of dubstep, when the dance makes way for something else."

Avenue Red welcomes another DJ from Bucharest, Romania... enter Anddie (real name Pietrareanu Andrei), a DJ and artist who likes to push the deeper and dubbier shades of house & techno. This 1-hour mix is a dark, groovy selection of dreamy 4/4 gems, mixed sweetly and flowing like treacle.

I chose to release one here because a lot of artists that I appreciate released previously there and because there is some sort of open format which is amazing. Avenue Red's BIG 200 steamroller rolls on to DJ mix 5/10 with the 7th contribution from London-based resident selector, Josh Lentink. In keeping with his trademark sound, here we have another colourful, enlightened, melodically rich mixture of deep house, techno, electro, IDM and breaks in this CD-length payload of divine cuts from Josh's glowing and diverse collection.
