Indie rock daydreamers, Songs of Llore, create a lush sonic dreamscape for listeners to explore. Ethereal, yet intimate vocals weave through distorted guitars and vibey synth pads to transport listeners to other worlds. Songs of Llore employs a combination of real and synthetic instruments and sounds, transcending the limits of the physical world while staying grounded on earth. Similar artists are: Wet Leg, Angel Olsen, Mitski, Cocteau Twins.
 

Songs of Llore is the project of Amanda Collins who uses music to spin  elements of magic and storytelling. Her songs speak of healing, nature, and connecting with our truest self. She is inspired by daydreams and using music as a portal to enter other worlds. Influences include a big pile of fantasy novels, folk ballads, FKA twigs, Fairport Convention, Joan Baez, Mitski, and Jenny Lewis.


Songs of Llore is based in Nashville, TN performing with bandmates Matt Steward and Dillon Frazier. They were finalists in Lightning 100’s 2024 Music City Mayhem. Their four song EP, “Late Bloomer,” is now out on all streaming platforms. Catch them at Random Sample June 3rd.

Here are some of my first attempts at creating original music and sharing my perspective through sound. All the songs were recorded with my phone mic and garageband.

Sam Pellegrino is the Jag-Rock child of Pittsburgh natives, Tim Fitzgerald and Nick Blum. Using elbow grease, coffee grounds, and malt liquors left out overnight, they result in a sound reminiscent of what it's like to spend early adulthood living in a city that is wet and cloudy 75% of the year.

Having played 14+ years, Kevin Jackson is a seasoned musician. The multi-instrumentalist is best known for his work in the Baltimore based bands Perks, and The Antarctics. More recently, he played bass in the DC/Philly based group, Queue; he even appears on their recent release "Float Away." Now he is preparing for his upcoming solo release, under the pseudonym, S. Poehlmann. Here you'll find songs that reflect his formative years, primarily throughout high school (circa 2008-2012) and a little bit of college (circa 2012-2016).
