'Cumbias Imaquinarias' is an EP going full circle to one of El Buho’s earliest inspirations for making electronic music: digital Cumbia. It was a scene that exploded out of Buenos Aires around 2008 and went global. The scene got saturated and fell out of fashion but gave birth to artists like Chancha Via Circuito, Frikstailers, El Remolon and was a big inspiration for him as a young producer. For El Buho there was always something there: the entrancing magic of the cumbia rhythm reimagined for the electronic dancefloor. Cumbia is a music that is at once globally connected but also so diverse, evolving and growing into so many subshoots of this one simple rhythm. This EP presents three cumbias and one porro rhythm (a derivation of the cumbia rhythm from the Colombian caribbean which evolved into its own style).

Known for having a weighty catalogue of compilation series, ProgRAM has introduced this releasing style as a way to explore the artists who help make the imprint a necessary outlet for the underground. Flying the flag internationally too for over a decade, tracks like Canadian Aaron Payne’s ‘Night to Day’ with RMS on ProgRAM’s ‘Pieces Pt. 2’ signifies its cross-continental appeal. It was the first time he stepped out under its influence with RMS and now they return with double-sided single ‘Pacific Dreams / Kanjiru’.

Whilst ‘Pacific Dreams’ merges progressive melodies amongst swelling bass rhythms and rolling drums, ‘Kanjiru’ translates its title meaning through crunching percussion and deep sweeping layers of synthesis. So once again, it’s time to get with the ProgRAM, with Aaron Payne and RMS kick starting the New Year.

"Ramé: La Isla del Sol" es el nombre del primer EP de tres que #RCA lanzará a lo largo de este 2023 por el festejo de sus 10 años.

Ramé es una palabra de origen balinés (idioma hablado en la isla de Bali) que se refiere a la contraposición del caos y la belleza. Este EP conformado por 4 canciones originales es la forma en que se da valor al tiempo y la perseverancia que ha hecho que este proyecto siga aún vivo, porque no es fácil encontrar ese algo que te impulse a continuar a pesar de todos los obstáculos que se puedan presentar.

Este EP esta dedicado a todos aquellos que no se rinden, que se adaptan, que construyen su camino y día a día buscan esperando encontrar la belleza en el caos.
