Many people have jobs that take them away from home for days, weeks, even months at a time. Truck drivers, service men and women, business people and many others spend lonely hours  traveling and in lonely hotel rooms wishing they could be home with family and friends. This original song is about such a person, a touring musician, who is on his way home after a long gig on the road. I'll Be Home Tonight is written, performed and recorded by Pete Fossi.

This is one of the earliest random tracks I did that never ended up on an "album".  I recorded it during a difficult time in my life when I didn't have much by the way of a job.  I was feeling low and you can hear that in the lyrics.  The upside was that I had lots of time to record.  I really enjoyed doing all the electric guitar parts and the backward piano notes at the end.
