My Old Friends deals with the premise that Music from the 50s, 60s, and 70s is more meaningful than the music of today. From the days of playing it live with My Old Friends (you know who you are!), to many years later, just re-listening to the artists (who are also Our Old Friends)that have colored our lives and memories with the old classics from the genres of those years, I have been blessed. Life has it's trials. When these troubled situations occur, we can cry and be a victim, or, we can pick ourselves up, move on, and look for new exciting opportunities. And, of course, Big boys don't cry (Well, Maybe A Little Bit), sitting around wondering, "Why Me!" Cried A Little Bit was written, performed, recorded, and arranged by Pete Fossi.

Many people have jobs that take them away from home for days, weeks, even months at a time. Truck drivers, service men and women, business people and many others spend lonely hours  traveling and in lonely hotel rooms wishing they could be home with family and friends. This original song is about such a person, a touring musician, who is on his way home after a long gig on the road. I'll Be Home Tonight is written, performed and recorded by Pete Fossi.

This is one of the earliest random tracks I did that never ended up on an "album".  I recorded it during a difficult time in my life when I didn't have much by the way of a job.  I was feeling low and you can hear that in the lyrics.  The upside was that I had lots of time to record.  I really enjoyed doing all the electric guitar parts and the backward piano notes at the end.
