Coming through with a slice of much needed summer is long awaited guest, Levi aka. Unknown Mobile. You'll know him well from his well received releases across some of the dance sphere and Canada's finest; Planet Euphorique, Pacific Rhythm, SOBO & ASL Singles Club to name a few. His production style is something tricky to nail down within the confines of a soundcloud bio, but It's safe to say though that his work always manages to hit a certain spot, whilst transcending fads and phases along the way. 

Levi planned this mix for us in his mind as his "first summertime bar patio/terrace/rooftop daytime gig - post covid dreams of prepping the floor for a danceable sunset". This should give you an idea of how much he dives head first into the summery hinterland with his 1-hour-30. Expect flawlessly selected disco and house.. mercilessly and masterfully stitched together for your enjoyment. One of those tapestries of selections where you should treat yourself to switching off; let the messages go unread, the world will keep on turning.

In the week of our annual Dekmantel Festival, Swiss's finest Sassy J starts of the week just how it should. Combining the old and the new, there’s just one common denominator to her eclectic style of music she’s playing: soulfulness. Her versatility and technical skills come together in this mix, like we also witnessed in her Boiler Room performance she did for us in Barcelona.  Her taste of good music brought her to places like Worldwide Festival, London's Plastic People and let her release a mixtape on The Trilogy Tapes. Besides her own DJ career she invites the top of the notch to her own Patchwork parties in Bern (Theo Parrish, Steve Spacek, Rednose Distrikt, and MF DOOM to name a few). On top of that, she makes custom clothes like sweaters and shirts featuring Nina Simone, Larry Levan, and Sun Ra.

Pat and Ben have been quietly going about their Heels & Souls project for the last 3 years now, throwing quality non-for-profit parties around the capital with the emphasis on eclectic DJ’s and interesting spaces. Through this they’re gaining recognition as talented DJ’s in their own right, releasing podcasts for Test Pressing and Ransom Note, making waves on the festival circuit and regularly playing around London; everything from audiophile haunts, to the capitals radio stations and now more regularly clubs to boot. Style wise the pair are as comfortable selecting jazz and soul as they are at seamlessly blending boogie, Italo, proto-house, electro and whatever else finds it’s way into their collections. As they’ve developed musically, so too has Heels & Souls’s fundraising initiative grown in scope and scale, tasking themselves with raising £5,000 for the inspirational, music based, mental health charity Key Changes by the end of the year.
