PREMIERE: Orchid - I Can't Take A Whale [39 Records]

FABZ's debut EP on @discos_extendes consists of two simple tracks. “How It Feels” is a house roller, driven by a very “deep” bass, which develops around some vocal hooks. Here there is a clear aesthetic contrast between a certain melancholy present in the first part of the song and an emotional crescendo, somewhat inspiring, that appears in the second half. Maybe like someone taking a deep breath, gaining strength to move forward after a huge heartbreak.

“Coming Home” is an R’n’B hit, which combines a ravy and breakbeat aesthetic with the sensitivity of The F Libra’s lyrics, in a style that may remind us of some George Riley songs. Here too the theme is that of overcoming, and about a healing process... but an overcoming that will only be done in that comfort allowed by returning home. Two hot, tender and emotionally charged tracks.
