In its 4th​ ​installment, JIN, the Taipei, Taiwan-based label, continues its cosmic journey with a set of tracks that simmer between peak-time dance floor and early morning afterhours vibe.

First up see's Bangkok's Siamese Twins mainstay Sunju Hargun, 1/2 of Mogambo, returning to JIN with two A-side tracks. The first, “Chale”, is a modern ode to classic trance that will leave dancefloors from Bangkok to Berlin in ecstasy. His second track-フーイズカサンドラ("Who is Kassandra'') is a post peak-time 7-minute acid bomb that spins and reverberates in every direction.
The B-side features two remixes of “Chale”. First up, (our choice) is Barcelona's wunderkind Marc Piñol, who removes the trance needle and rebuilds the track creating a perfectly dubbed-our cosmic trip between musical galaxies.

Man Power returns to Optimo Music with this splendid dance floor tested 2 tracker. He says -

“UIUAWIO is me killing time by covering Odyssey and singing into my laptop in a budget hotel in Mexico while my wife met with her lawyers next door. I think most of the best stuff people make comes in those loose moments that take place between doing everything else properly. Psychedelectricity is me writing lyrics for a fictitious song title that I read in a comic book story by Grant Morrison almost 30 years ago."

Next on Berlin’s Renate Schallplatten is Longhair, a project formed by Marko Pelaic and Benedikt Bogenberger, two residents of Berlin’s Wilde Renate. Mangostine, a four-tracker, follows last year’s 12” on Dutch label Bordello A Parigi and a track contribution on House Is OK. 

The release is Renate Schallplatten’s first since 2017’s various artist compilations. Earlier EPs have landed from Moscoman, Sebastian Voigt, Wareika, and more.

Paranoid London are on the brink of releasing their second album, ‘PL’, which finds duo Quinn Whalley and Gerardo Delgado delving into the dark, analogue territory they explored on their 2015 self-titled debut. ‘PL’ boasts a series of guests including queer scene darling Josh Caffe (on the already-released ‘Vi-Vi (Vicious Games)‘, Alan Vega from Suicide, A Certain Ratio’s Simon Topping, Arthur Baker, Warmduscher frontman Mutado Pintado as well as Bubbles Bubblesynski, the trans activist and DJ who was murdered in 2017. ‘Cult Hero (Do You Wanna Touch Me)’ – which we’re premiering below, takes a squiggly, acid-meets-EBM beat with post-punk frontman Simon Topping’s vocal driving the track forward. Juan Maclean returns with an ever uplifting and playful offering, in the form of his 'Here In Twilight' EP - his debut release for Aus. The record as a whole offers up three original cuts, oozing with an Italo flavor - a sound that Juan has become synonymous with, yet is persistently refining with contemporary nip & tucks. The record is rounded off with a remix from arguably one of the closest followed DJ's of the past few years, Berlin-based Canadian born, Nathan Micay.

If you're a-custom to Nathan's output, you'll know that his remixes are something that he doesn't compromise on quality or without leaving his mark upon. This premiere's 'Here In The Twighlight' is no different, entering the room with a non-apologetic stonk which carries melodic features from the original cut, yet twisted and morphed with Nathan's familiar otherworldy, yet optimistic stylistic methods.
