Elijah 'EJ' Gasataya - a.k.a EJGSTY is a music producer and sound designer based in New Jersey. He started producing during his freshman year of high school, when a close friend of his introduced him to Ableton Live, a well-known digital audio workstation (DAW) software for sound design. At the same time, EJ was involved in his school's marching and jazz ensembles by playing the drums, piano, and the marimba. He has been playing drums since he was 8 years old. Ever since, his passion for music was only getting stronger.

EJ released his debut album 'Park Songs 1' in August 2023. This album aims to achieve sonic awareness through ambient soundscapes and textures, some of which were sampled through his phone, and manipulated just using the 'PaulXStretch' audio plugin. His desire for ambient music is inspired by works from Brian Eno, Hillsong Worship, William Ackerman, and Fred Again.

Other artists that are influential to him are Four Tet, Diplo, U2, Barry Can't Swim, Bon Iver, and more.

He has produced and contributed to multiple local artists ever since, including Beck Lianna's recent release - 'Fallout' (2024), works from Christian Simpson, and DeZiox. He hopes to collaborate with other artists for original releases or even remixes of already produced content in the near future.
