Captain Mustache is back with the third release on Mobilee from his Luz album, this time with Play Paul, the brother of Daft Punk's Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo collaborating on one of the tracks, “The Pathetic”.

French producer Captain Mustache bridges electro, techno and wave influences. He has put out music on Permanent Vacation and Bedrock, while his last outing on Kompakt 'Everything' marked his biggest tune to date with top-tier DJ support and more than 300K plays. His upcoming album Luz is a deep dive into a wide array of influences from the 80s and 90s and finds him exploring new styles that work at home, away from the club, as well as on the dance floor.

The Pathetic is at the heart of the album and is a sleek, futuristic electro-techno sound with sultry indie vocals. Bright arps flash across the face of the tune as the drums surge on and the moody bass adds great weight.

Dancing Like Muffins keeps the pressure on with bright synth lines jangling above the well swung groove and some lush claps. Sparkling arps explode to bring more light and lift up to what is a majestic cosmic odyssey. Add in some vocoder vocals that bring a melancholic edge and you have a transcendent dance floor gem.

These are two more irresistible tastes of Captain Mustache and his superb new album Luz coming out on Sept 12th.

Firm favorite of the channel, 'Who's Susan' made some serious strides last year, whamming out their first four records within a year of their inception. Each of their offerings demonstrating the dutch imprint's penchant for authenticity, whilst fundamentally retaining their dance-floor roots. Dwell in the past, we shalt not; this is now. It's 2018 and their 5th release (technically 004) states some serious intent going forth. This one's a split record from Axe on Wax head honcho, Fede Lng on the A and the bodacious Deejay Astral on the flip - and by Jove it's heavy. We're pleased to be premiering Fede's 'Shut 'em Down' - a stonking, rip-rawing bully of a jam. Gone are the times to sit, contemplate and meloncholically mull ones projections into the forthcoming year. This one's for the floor and it's taking you there whether you like it or not. Anthony Fade's made a few stand-out appearances on FH over the past year-or-so with a bunch of stellar offerings on a handful esteemed outlets such as Nerang, Dansu Discs, Shall Not Fade and sister imprint, Lost Palms. He returns this time on fellow tastemaker Sloth Boogie's new(ish) record arm with four club destined pumpers, crafted for the dancefloor.

'M1 Cause Everyone's Gotta Have Fun' is bursting with 90's euphoria,  something we haven’t as of yet seen emanate from Anthony's artillery - but damn he does it well. Still embodying the hallmark Fade fuzz n' crackle, Anthony achieves a nostalgic club experience as well as a contemporary one. A real 3am energy raising jam, contributing towards yet another excellent release.

Incoming! Our next premier of the week is a debut track from up and coming UK producer, Carter Fools, as we once again shed light on some of the many fantastic emerging talents.

We get sent a lot of brand new music, but as a small team, we don't always get through it all. Although we weren't familiar with Carter Fools, we knew this one was worth sharing as not only one-to-watch, but also to bring some excellent new music to your ears.

Every Right / Tama' is the debut release from 23-year-old newcomer Carter Fools. The lead track 'Every RIght' is an atmospheric house track that's grabs inspiration from breaks and early rave releases. The repeating synth hook and surrounding strings give this track a hypnotic energy sure to stick a crowd's hands to the ceiling. 'Tama', the B side of this release, is a 4x4 hitter. A stabbing melody and distant vocal runs through this track providing a real club energy.
