Dublin native Aero has become of the most prolific Irish techno artists within recent time, as the youngster carves out a career that is wrapped around the foundations of purist techno.
The Dubliner’s punishing style of techno has been haunting Irish dancefloors for overhalf a decade, as Aero’s deep knowledge of techno see’s him weave through hard edged and funk-laced techno cuts from various time periods.
Aero has played alongside some of techno’s most formidable names, from Stef Mendesidis & Dax J through to SHDW & Obscure Shape & Sunil Sharpe, to name a few. Aero is one of the most trusted warm up DJs in Ireland, but is also equally versed in pulverising a dancefloor at peak time.
Outside of the club Aero’s productions have been seeing heavy support from
arguably some of the most influential DJs of our time from Freddy K, Amelie Lens, Slam, Richie Hawtin, Marcel Fengler & many more. With some more 12 inches forthcoming and a mountain of unreleased music 2024 is expected to be a colossal year for Aero.

Marcel Fengler’s place within the pantheon of German techno master’s is undisputed. As one of the first residents of Berghain / Panorama Bar, Fengler has been a constant on the global circuit for over 20 years. But his influence doesn’t stop at the DJ booth. Since 2011 the Brandenburg-born sound craftsman has sought to introduce new and younger talents via his imprint Marcel Fengler Index (IMF). A commitment he doesn’t plan on stopping soon. Leading the charge by way of EP opener, ‘Driftless’ is fast-rising Dublin native Aero. Set to a rollicking backdrop of rumbling bass and sawing synth, the track is unwavering and chugs with thunderous momentum breaking in parts only briefly before swiftly setting off again galloping vehemently to its close. Further tracks of HARDPROOF VA05 will be contributed by Vision Ekstase key member Rove Ranger, EarToGround label boss Gareth Wild, Berlin based massive talent Dajusch and Under Club Buenos Aires resident Kid Riot.

We make a pit stop in Cork today, as we welcome a DJ who needs little to no introduction to the Irish dance music scene, NATMAC.

Glasgow born, Essex bred and now living in Cork, NATMAC is the boss lady of Underground Ovation and host of the Raw Vision Mix Show. She's hugely passionate about developing her local scene, contributing massively to the Cork and Irish scene in doing so.

Underground Ovation focuses on not only sharing excellent tunes, but also offers a space for workshops, and general music industry conversations to take place, inspiring countless up and coming DJs and producers. 

When not in lockdown, she is a keen selecta for showcasing local producers and artists on the Raw Vision Mix Show recorded live in various locations in Ireland. 

Growing up on Drum and Bass, Garage and Electro, NATMAC gives the nod to a variety of influences ranging from Deep House grooves to Leftfield Techno. In recent years she could be found expressing her darker side of Techno, but since lockdown, it's been all about the groove. 

This mix includes a blended set of soft and heavy breaks, house and techno with a sample of local producers, vocal edits and flash back favourites. This is your Wednesday soundtrack.
