“Invested” was written during a time In my life where I was more focused on myself in romantic situations. I was coming out of a 4 year relationship and felt as though I needed to focus on myself and my happiness. Ironically “Invested” came with the realization of what I wasn’t giving to the women that I was with. I hadn’t been giving them my undivided attention, my time, my loyalty, or the emotional connection that they needed. This song is about when everything is done the right way in a relationship - No gimmicks, no lies, no one foot in one foot out, no insecurities. Only complete and whole hearted investment in the situation. A safe space for both parties involved.

I just got back from a vacation in the Caribbean, so it was only right “Lucky” was the next single.
