Somewhere between Minneapolis and Memphis, Austin Texas and Australia, is Chicago, Illinois, where  creative force, Bob Erl currently resides. His second floor studio serves more as a submarine for the subconscious; submerged in the deep waters of sonic explorations and melodic riffs while blue lights hum. Here Bobby has been thriving and completing work for his first solo project for go.Mary set to release by mid next year. Influenced by the opera of the ocean and the road, emotional landscapes that are beyond words are teased out in his experimental work blending surf guitar with punk. But after sharpening his chops on electric guitar and playing live blues with some of the greatest in Chicago when he was still a teenager, he has found home in bluesy acoustic rock. Ingo.Mary, Bobby writes with a fresh approach to these classic forms and then delivers them live with bone chilling skill, fluency, and passion.
