In order to pack a proper punch for Rusted Rhythms Vol. 46, we felt compelled to team up with Phydra for a rambunctious hour of Drum and Bass anthems and rollers. Head of the @Danktronics record label, and having been previously featured through The Rust with his track "Exposure", the pairing could hardly be more natural, and Phydra's exquisite dive into the DnB spectrum hits the mark several times over.

Maneuvering from bass weight to melodic fluidity and back again, the mix is awash with rapid transitions, crushing breakdowns, and smooth-cruising liquid fundamentals. With clear control over mixability and a powerful and eclectic mix of tunes, Phydra's command of his DnB experience betrays the time and effort put into laying out a fluid mix with such demonstrable skill, and if it sent us into a tizzy, it's liable to send old fans and new ears into a full on frenzy.

The 4321 eclipse festival was the most beautiful gathering I've ever been a part of. So grateful I got to chill out with everyone Sunday night. I was a little bummed there were clouds when I was setting up but a little ways into the set it had cleared up and the stars had joined us. Magic.
