The game follows the character of Hat Kid, a Young girl that is Capable of interstellar travel trying to get Home. While going Home, one of the Mafia from the game's Mafia town comes to collect 'Flying Boat Tax' for their government. The Mafia man busts the Spaceship door open and all of Hat Kid's ship fuel, or "Time Pieces", which have now been scattered all over the World. She's tasked with the Goal of keeping time from being irrevocably broken and must accomplish this by way of collecting "Time Pieces" before the Evil Mustache Girl can get her hands on them.

jades theme! wow we've really come a long way huh fellas?

i always really liked carefree victory and its really one of the only songs that felt like uniquely hers. towards the end i try and do something that like... every homestuck musician i think tries at least once: getting all 4 of the kid's instruments to play something nice together. i think i did alright, i subbed in beatboxing for daves turntables cause its not like you can just carry those anywhere. i guess as opposed to johns piano?? LMAO

musically i have jade start on bass, and as more of her friends come in she gets a little more confident in her basslines. anyway thats my fanfic.

this is the last new piece i'll be doing for the forseeable future, or until i feel like doing another one which might be immediately. ive been doing this on a largely volunteer basis for a while since the budget constraints were tight and we need to pay the bg and sprite artists a reasonable amount. I wanted all four kids to have music by me and i think we'll be digging into the homestuck archive for other stuff.

anyway i hope you've enjoyed the ride! its been a little bittersweet at times for me but i'll miss posting new stuff every two weeks.

Mann Vs Machine ~ Death By Russians

This here is a track that was originally made for an ice-themed tower defence game aimed at kids around 8+ (it's a university project which a friend of mine is a part of). It's now a lot more well-known as a theme for the third level in Geometry Dash!

Note: if this version sounds slower to you, then don't worry, it's not just you! This is the original version, not the Geometry Dash edit. It's got an extra section, loops, and is a bit slower. Still essentially the same song though :).

I had a real blast making this, and it's in a genre I've never made before. As much as I love orchestral, you can't really achieve such a high energy in an orchestral track as easily, and I've realised that making energetic tracks is pretty enjoyable!
