My EP SUPERNOVA contains two Japanese songs, and this is one of them. I have never released a song in Japanese before, but I took the plunge and decided to release these. It's a song recorded in one take with my acoustic guitar and vocal. The tempo is middle tempo (I didn't use the metronome function so I don't know the BPM). 3m58s. The main genre is Folk. Si les plus beaux paysages sont au-dessus de la ligne d’horizon chaque continent a son génie du ciel ....  Le ciel change chaque jour et imprime d’imperceptibles nuances grâce à ses nuages aux mille et une formes. Tout ciel nuageux en forme de gaze longiforme donnent cette « mélancolique lessive d’or du couchant » dont parlait si bien Rimbaud .... La fin d'été approche et nous pouvons observer maintenant un ciel plein de gros nuages blancs et aux nuances de gris, bourgeonnants, rembourrés, cotonneux, mais aussi lumineux comme des lampes au reflets lactescent …. 
J'ai essayé d'être représentatif de ce phénomène avec les nuances harmoniques de ce concept ….

The sky changes every day and prints imperceptible nuances thanks to its clouds with a thousand and one shape. All cloudy sky in the shape of a long gauze give this "melancholic laundry of the sunset" of which Rimbaud spoke so well .... The end of summer is approaching and we can now observe a sky full of large white clouds and shades of gray, budding, padded, cottony, but also luminous like lamps with lactscent reflections …. I tried to be representative of this phenomenon with the harmonic nuances of this concept ....

Don't Ruin It With Jealousy

This song was written at the same time as ‘Get Up’ which I posted a couple of months ago and is very much a partner piece to it. I’ve given it a more jazzy feel and upped the tempo from my first  version which I hope has given it a brighter and lighter feel. I’ve also multi-tracked the ‘Uh Oh’ vocal loop and added a few effects to make it a little more prominent in the mix - it is after all the title! I very much hope you enjoy this one and, if you have time, maybe leave a comment. The feedback I’ve had on the other songs has been really, really helpful ( and very encouraging too! ).

An aborted song turned into a little instrumental. It used to be called Used To Be but, I did a much slower version which I preferred. I put this out a few days ago with a vocal but deleted it and replaced it with this version.
I kept running out of breath when I was singing it as I just couldn't get the lyrics to flow properly 😁

Longtime ago I had this recurring nightmare, a typical scene of being chased,  by something very frightening... 
I was running away from something very scary, down lanes, roads and passageways. In one of these dreams I ran so fast I had to jump over a fence that suddenly appeared in front of me,
 as I leapt over it I took off!  , I was flying!... flying through this city, 
 anyways, back to the point. Years later I had the nightmare again, but this time I was frightened so much I woke up ! 
 at that point I realised this was that old recurring nightmare, 
so I decided to go straight back to sleep and try to bring that nightmare back and go looking for what ever was chasing me remembering it was just a dream. And I did just that!
...in dreams you can be invincible :)
